User Interface and Accessibility

  • Group Finder Improvements
    • Accounts now require an attached Battle.net Authenticator to post custom text when listing a group for Dungeons, Raids, or Rated PvP activities. All players may still search for and join others’ groups.
      • Developers’ note: A Group Finder that’s full of advertisements bothers us as much as it does you, but a challenge we’ve faced in trying to eliminate those ads is that they are often posted by compromised accounts or other throwaway accounts, such that penalties incurred by in-game reporting have not proven to be an effective deterrent. And regardless, relying on reports still means that some number of players have their experience disrupted by the spam before it gets reported. The Battle.net Authenticator is available for mobile devices and is a simple and convenient way to secure your World of Warcraft account, but if you prefer not to use it for whatever reason, you will still be able to post groups that will have descriptions auto-populated (e.g. based on raid name and difficulty selected in UI dropdowns, or derived from the Mythic Keystone currently in your bags). Our goal is to clean up the Group Finder while trying to minimize the inconvenience to ordinary players.

    Looks like. From the image it might have a shimmer effect of some kind as well. I know it's not going to be, but if the bundle was reasonably priced I might jump on it. Already have the mount in that image, though, so I'd assume the bundle would be slightly discounted.

    I think if they scaled down the pit lord model and added a satchel it could be possible. Still I could imagine someone there could think of a enemy from the Legion that might be neat to have for a mount. They have done numerous mounts before for timewalking vendors, so there is a small chance. I did like the warp stalkers they did for TBCC promotion. So it's nice to get a mount like that obtainable ingame.

    a Pit Lord mount would definitely be cool but I would want it to drop from something epic rather than just being something from a vendor. Similar to how the Felhound and Gloomhound mounts are, or the Infernals

    Again. Reminder for you guys. Who participate in this promotions - is enemy for himself. Because again Blizzard try to "save" Wow not via fixing it, but via 100500 promotions. If you will participate in then, when situation with game is so obviously bad, that even devs openly admit it - you will always get this promotions instead of real fixes. It's again feels like everything will be fixed in 10.0. Problem is, if Blizzard will milk enough money from you without actually fixing their game and will escape from this situation again - 10.0 will be the same crap.

    A lot of people have been asking for the inclusion of previous expansion dungeons into the mythic+ pool and this is the initial implementation.

    It's a -good- thing, not a bad one.

    You should just remember, that Cata was first time, when everything was bad and by the end of it devs claimed, that they listened for feedback and everything would be fixed in MOP. And things only got worse. Nobody asked for 1 months of 1 hour of mandatory daily rep grinds on every character to unlock rewards from other kinds of content.

    I also do not think that requirement of auth will change much but it still better than nothing i guess.

    Authenticators are extremely easy to get and can be acquired digitally and free. I'll be surprised if this does anything significant to the announcement of boosting services.

    The joke dehumanizes women in a way that's malign and expresses the view that they should automatically be tossed aside without any reflection if there's a conflict of interest between a woman you're intimate with and a close male friend.
