I have tried hearthstone dozens of times and never got into it, this new mode looks very interesting compared to normal gameplay.

Owning a cool mount was a thing in TBC when there were 5 mount skins available.

We are past the point it's ridiculous.

Totally disagree. I have a huge number of great memories associated with a lot of the different mounts.

    • Accidentally getting the setthek raven mount in wod on my first attempt
    • The care put into the legion hall mounts
    • The launch mount from hearthstone which was now like 7 years ago. Average mount but still an occaision
    • Fey dragon that my ex gifted to me is still a neat reminder
    • The gnomish mounts I grinded rep for (runecloth farm) out on my dwarf in vanilla, which are now luckily account wide so all my dwarves can use it
    • all the work I put in to get the gyrocopter in BC, then to finally get the turbo one in legion
    • the water skimmer _everyone_ used for two expansions
    • the simple yak /because its a yak
    • the chaos runner stag thing and the twelve minutes spent in argus
    • the purplish bear they added in WOTLK? that was a welfare ZA/Blizzcon bear which I used for my second main
    • all the fish/turtles for mostly spawning at the wrong time a/la wobbofet
    • rams
    • the far too large gronn mounts and camping for hours in WoD
    • having a reason to do LFR weekly to try to get the gmod
    • the gold making and experience of making the kinda awful but still neat hovercraft
    • the polished/evolutionary gnomish aesthetic of the rustbolt striders
    • the mechacrab striders from rustbolt
    • the crab that walks sideways
    • the original netherrays and the skyguard rep
    • all the small (failed) attempts to get the TLPD by accident
    • finding out you're like two achievements away from an old raid mount, so you go do that for a bit
    • a reason to form a small group to run old dungeons for mounts
    • finally getting a bronze drake in WoTLK
    • the goblin shredder lineups in towns
    • the mechacycle / wod mechacycles
    • the mount that's literally just a wheel

While this is true for a while, wait until you reach 400+ mounts. It became pointless to me at around that number.

If you have reached similar number and is still interested in collecting, you are stronger than most of us

Wait so collecting things compulsively to make number go big instead of what you like causes burn out? Say it isn't so!

First thing I noticed. Another damn mount that doesn't fly. This is something that wow just lags behind on for some misplaced reason. I mean ffxiv manages to do this without any problems, so what's blizzards excuse? World building or immersion or some other nonsense? Those arguments went right out the window when everyone was handed there own Ashbringer.

Tutorial is bugged out on me so I am softlocked and looking at support, others have the same issue. Just wanted to say that this is the first time since like WoD I have ever been in a situation in a Blizzard game where I am unable to play a release while the servers are fine (in WoD entering the garrison phase).

Despite reports of lockups, I didn't have any issues getting the mount. But I did it right when the severs went up, who knows.
Didn't know the mount itself wasn't a flying one, though.

What bugged out for you? I received my mount after starting the barrens tutorial mission on the mission board at camp.

Well basically I created the upgrading area in my city and the tutorial wanted me to upgrade Tyrande but it bugged out and restarting it the tutorial don't know how to guide me and the tabs don't work so I can't get to Tyrande, only the red units.

You're really not adding much to the conversation with your opinion.
