Patch 9.2 Mounts and Creature Models

The new Sylvanas model... poor thing, she looks all sad and vulnerable. Of course we'll be more inclined to forgive her now. "I'm not bad, I was just drawn that way..."

I love how abstract everything looks.

I am not exactly a fan of this "oribos" design. But this skins look sick.

Also if you like her new style, pro tip: Get a bottle of the cheapest hooch you can find, a pack and cigarettes and stand around near a rock concert. You'll get to see alot of "new" Sylvanas cosplay for free.

Is that a new cheetah form for druids? FINALLY!!!

To be fair the original cheetah model in WoW didn't really look like a cheetah either.
I agree the new model doesn't look much like a cheetah but I still find it to be a cool feline and I will use it if I can on my druid.

Are you talking about the model(ie the looks of the model) or the skeleton(animations and build). Because reason why they use the same build/skeleton is to save time. It's also easier since you don't have to create new animations all the time, which can be very time consuming.
When you can slap the same skeleton on differently skinned mobs you get more time for other things.
When it comes to variation it's also wise to remember that Zereth Mortis is supposed to be where all the creatures in Shadowlands were created. Showing the same mobs with slightly different looks then makes sense.

Moths were my #1 mount wish prior to this expansion, and I finally got that.

Snails were my #2. And now I'm getting that too.

Mount-wise, I'm a happy guy.

It’s unlikely they are asking the art team to use the same skeleton, the art team likely just wants to hit X amount of new models which means they either need to use pre existing skeletons or make less models so they can put more time into rigging up new skeletons before any modelling can start.

Looks cool! 9.2 certainly looks different than rest of SL, makes me happy. Several cool mounts to collect too!

Bros we aren't on earth... we are on Azeroth... It's an Azerothian Cheetah and it looks great... I'm glad it doesn't look like 100% like an earth cheetah... it would look completely outta place if it did.
