is it just me or do the faces (especially living sylvannas and living uther) look really... different? like, they look like they were made in a very different artstyle than the other characters

It looks like an HD version of their HotS models.

Probably using the HoTS engine or OW,cant say i dont enjoy the new look though ! its nice after the cinematic with garrosh in the raid :P

I am amazed that at every step of the way in Shadowlands has somehow managed to come BELOW by already rock bottom expectations.

Is Danuser like the only writer not implicated with touching someone's hand at Blizzard or something? This guy has to go while there are still more than a handful of people playing the game

The art style for this one is a bit... Funky. Almost like a fan trailer where someone is trying to imitate the Blizzard style but doesn't quite hit the mark. It's not bad looking, just a bit uncanny.

I.. LOVED it. I really did. No one comments anything positive anymore. It's like anyone with a positive view just keeps it to themselves, only negativity is spoken... In game and out of game.

I feel bad for Metzen, still comes in to voice thrall and has to experience the destruction they've done to the story that he made so great once upon a time

The only woman Danuser wants to touch is Sylvannas, and i'm sure he writes his own fan fiction stories involving that on his spare time

Not gonna lie, I quite enjoyed that.

Especially the subtle facial expressions of high elf Sylvanas. Wasn't a fan of the previous cinematics, but this one I like.

The story is pretty much what I expected it to be, which to me is neither negative nor positive.

Absolutely beautiful. The quantum trainwreck that continues collapsing into itself before being reborn in a burst of dumpster fire like a messed up phoenix in an eternal cycle is now complete. It somehow makes Sylvanas the real victim, absolves her of her actions, is most certainly going to lead to a redemption and undermines the Banshee Queen that the players knew and actually cared about for the last 20 years all at the same time. Danuser promised he would provide us with a magnum opus of fantasy and he finally delivered.

I want to talk trash on this but i think they did just fine making this look bad enough on their own.

People being drama queens as usual. It's really not that bad, it makes sense, but maybe a bit too predictable.

I'm more interested in the visual update.

I wonder if that is a test run for a new engine update in 10.0? They usual slip next expansion stuff they're done with in with the last patch.

It looks good. Like a mix of OW and Hots style, as others have been saying.
