Patch 9.2 - Summon Sayaad Spell Preview
In Patch 9.2, the Summon Succubus spell is being replaced with Summon Sayaad, which allows Warlocks to randomly summon their Succubus or Incubus.

Once summoned in the new patch, the Sayaad offers a new quest Whatever You Sayaad, directing warlocks to their class trainer in case they want to adjust the spell.

Quest Objectives

Speak with Laphandrus Voidheart in Stormwind / Kazak Darkscream in Orgrimmar about adjusting your Summon Succubus spell.

Warlocks can speak with the Warlock trainers in Stormwind and Orgrimmar to change the form of their Sayaad and enact a pact with them by using one of the following items:

After one of the items above is used, Warlocks can revert the change by speaking with the Warlock trainer again.

You're going to miss me!

Yes, yes, whatever you say...

At once, o great one.

on one hand, it's cool with more choice.

on the other hand, this just shows that the company still is stuck in its self flagellation bonanza and focusing on retarded shit like changing pictures of women to apples, rather than fixing the game.

I'd love to know how you imagine the art team behind WoW would fix the game, because you are aware that in game development, there are multiple teams, working on multiple projects, at once, yes?

The Incubus model (and the portrait changes, which let's be honest is just a fucking piss poor attempt to throw shade at Blizzard) is done by the art development team, and probably by one or two people. That team has literally *nothing* to do with game balance, encounter design, quest design, or literally anything gameplay related.

They're the ones in charge of making the game look pretty. So again, please offer us your thoughts on how the art team is going to "fix the game"? Because I don't know about you, but I'd rather not have someone whose dedicated themselves fully to character and environment design to suddenly be given the reigns of core gameplay mechanics, and be told to "Fix it".

English is not my native language and maybe I see things differently but those lines are not talking about summoning both genders. One is for summoning female and the other is about summoning male.

"Barbed Collar of the Succubus - Strengthen your pact with your Succubus, ensuring that your ritual will only summon them."
"Barbed Collar of the Incubus - Strengthen your pact with your Incubus, ensuring that your ritual will only summon them."

Succubus is for me female, and female for me its "her" not "them".
Incubus is for me male, and for me its "him" not "them".

But it's better to be safe, someone could get angry and offended right

Never get why people think Yoshi P is some kind of saint. There is zero reason for that but some stories which are kind of the same level as Chuck Norris jokes. He's FF14s main marketing guy, there to sell it -especially why they can't make it better and instead have to cut it down so much.

"We are just a small and very poor indy company, me and my few colleagues here, please, give us more money, we really need it. ;_; And don't criticize anything in the game, that makes us sad, then we cry and can't work, because our tears of sadness makes it so hard to see anything. ;_; ;_; ;_;"

There will be only ONE reason if NFT is not coming to FF14 and that would be the fear, that it would cost them more money via leaving players than it would make them.

We talk about Square Enix. That company does not have a good image at all. And the good image of Yoshi P mainly comes from a fanbase fantasy, build upon the marketing events, that's it.

In reality that man finds a hell lot of excuses - but delivers no fixes. "Sorry, engine bad, server bad, we can't do anything (beside buying more servers, but that would cost money and we want to spend that sweet money). - Oh, and we can't give you more bank space, because engine bad, server bad - BUT you can RENT bank space only 2$ per month up to seven times, money fixes our server and engine problems so well, it's magic. The magic of money. Give us more money. - Money!"

And no, the server problems are WAY older than covid...
Actually, that's not true. He's not asking for more money. He encourages people to un-sub when they want to un-sub, whereas Blizz wants you to stay subbed. The store has been chock full of stuff for YEARS, idk what you're talking about. I remember it having a bunch of crap back in late ARR.

Also, you seem ignorant to the fact SE has tried to pay for more servers at 3x the rate. There's something called a shortage on the chips right now.

Also, server problems since way before COVID? I've been playing on and off since end of ARR and have never had any issues until late ShB right around when Asmongold started to play rofl

You seem very angry and you're saying a bunch of things that are simply not true. Right now, I am logging into Excalibur at 5:55 PM Central time when just a month ago the queue would have been 4 to 8,000 and the queue was only 336. Relax dude, you can play again. I got in in 2 minutes. Hell, I even logged into Limsa Lominsa at the normal busiest time.

except blizz says to literally take breaks, and the devs have gone on record saying "we want players to unsub if they are not enjoying the game, we know our player cycle is cyclical" which people took as an insult. but was literally saying we know our players sub, leave, come back later.

idk where you are getting the idea they WANT YOU TO STAY SUBBED more then ff14 does.
cause funny thing is ff14 has far more fomo then wow does. and also has "get rewarded if you stay subbed"

The current pervasive rumor (pillar of slat implied) is the shop changes will allow them to list links to NFT storefront or act as one itself. Further rumors suggest the NFTs will be of unused designs from the Cute But Deadly series.

Again, pillar of salt strongly implied here.

How would that be NFT's? NFT's are virtual, and this is the physical shop. I feel people are making up these rumors to try and compensate for ff14 getting NFT's, cause the company has shown no interest in such.

I agree that it's likely just crap, but.....you know the store is virtual too, right? Nothing's really stopping them from setting up a page that links out to a sales site. I can think of three webcomics that did just that. And the store is being reworked anyway.

Hell, an actual physical gotta-use-your-own-two-feet store could theoretically sell NFTs if they set up an iPad kiosk.

If Blizz was going to NFT anything, it would be in-game transmog junk.

The SYSTEM of the game he is the producer of forces you to give them money to not get stuff you earned in the game to be deleted. Which other game do you know that forces you to pay them a sub, just for that?

He told players to play something else as an answer to "why isn't there enough content". You get this, right? The game brutally cut content in SB and even more in ShB. We had SHIT to do and what he had to do was mostly badly re-hashed stuff with a carrot bound to it, like Ishgard restoration stuff, that was simply a bare-bone gathering and crafting grind of lowest level, perfect for bots, but for sure not entertaining at all.

Overall you can't criticize the game wihtout the extremely toxic community going full crazy on you, but some people still may ask such questions still and then the producer just tells you: lol, play something else.

"Also, server problems since way before COVID? I've been playing on and off since end of ARR and have never had any issues until late ShB right around when Asmongold started to play rofl"

Good for you, then you never played the first two years in europe with up to 2k latency thanks to NO EU SERVERS AT ALL, never at start of an expansion and never cared for housing at all - or simply give a fuck about the other people.

See, if you got no clue of the game and it's problemems, it's fine, but why then open your mouth?

"You seem very angry and you're saying a bunch of things that are simply not true. "

You are the one trying to insult me right now, so it's quite clear who is the angry one. And trying to insult me by calling me liar, while you are the one who denies reality... well.

And this got nothing to do with queues, you even completely miss the problem. I did not wrote a single line about queues.

What you write does not look like that you played the game much, ever. The cash shop in ARR times was very little in comparison, while you got way more stuff just as sub rewards, via events and alike, including mounts and whole outfits, stuff that you will now have to buy on the cash shop instead of getting it for free like before.

Sorry, you don't seem to know what you are talking about - or you do this on purpose, I don't know.

    Regarding WoW:

That's the game I don't play much and mainly when friends want me to play with them, but it's not hard to understand what is going on, and WoW never deletes anything. I can take a break whenever I want (as I did, partly for years) and just jump right in whenever I want, with the massive catch up mechanics, it's easy to, well, catch up. That you have to do SOMETHING to get stuff, duh, it's an MMORPG, of course you have to play the game to get stuff.

When I look at the quite fake sounding outrage of people about things like this legendary belt, I wonder why they play an MMORPG and not just some click click smartphone game, since it seems to be what they actually want. Just some click click.

Oh no, 'systems', the game got content I 'have to' do. I have to play this game, it's outragous.

It's like going into a steak restaurant just to yell around that I hate steaks and how disgusting this restraunt is to sell them to people, 'forcing' me to eat them! These monsters!

Not that I think anyone would get offended - it's a videogame -, but a male-presenting person (or demon) can still identify as a different gender, so "them" is inclusive to all of the possible genders, without excluding the majority (which would identify with an exclusively male pronoun).

Also, technically speaking, it's easier to write "they/them" in any and all text lines, and when needed just change the subject of the text to whatever you're referring to (incubus/succubus in this case). Strictly speaking code-wise, I mean.

So you simply got no house. Sure, when you got nothing to lose, they can take anything away. Duh. Unsubbing for less than the quarter of a year means, that your house is gone and EVERYTHING inside it, too. Deleted. that you have to ask me what I mean makes me question if you played the game at all, because that's really not anything new, nor secret.

It's not really an argument against it anyway, but one I heared often enough from people who can nothing but whitewash Square's greed since it's pretty much the only one they got, calling housing unimportant and alike.

But there a close to 2000 housing items when you put everything together, pretty much every content in the games gives housing items, there IS quite a big housing system going on with four soon five different places to have housing in, so the dev itself clearly does not see it as something unimportant at all, but a BIG selling point of the game.

A big selling point that simply does not deliver enough plots for alle players who want it. Not even close. Not even for 50% of active players. And they abuses this shortage instead of solving it.

The incubus change would have been fine if they hadn't spent so much time virtue signalling and wasting art resources on redacting game assets in the past.
I would rather development was driven by whatever the next big thing is, than an attempt at a woke remodelling of the game driven by the lawsuit.
and it's a nobrainer what the art team should be doing with their time, they should be moving to the next feature/expansion/patch with focus on how to make that cool.

They could spend time making new pictures of apples, that's fine, just dont wrap it in the scandal or sodomize the games historic assets.

Ah, no, I have heard of this. I've never bothered trying to get my own house, but I actually saved my former FC's house from being deleted a couple months back by visiting it for the first time ever. Personally, housing doesn't mean much to me, but it's cool if people like it and I think what people have done with it is pretty wild.

Yes, I definitely have played though lol Deltrus Phoenix on Excalibur.
