hes actually right in away we don't need to hit more targets with it we need it to not hit like a wet noodle, our aoe didn't get buffed increasing the target cap wont make us do more damage with it. it'll just be the same low dmg spread to more targets

    Right! Should have said:

Beast Cleave damage increased by X amount

    All damage increased by 3%

It's nice buffing under-performing specs and all, but most of them are for classes that have one or more good specs already. As these buffs stand most of the under-performing specs will come up to about the mid-range, and that pushes those in the mid to lower-mid down, and that means classes with one DPS spec are going to be shafted.

TL;DR "My spec isn't in the top 3 waaaah nerf the other specs until it is!!!".

God forbid survival gets to have some fun for a patch.

Unless you're in a top100 guild, nobody is going to shaft you. There are ferals above 2.5k m+ score. If they can get there, any class can dps. People just want the easy way out.

All good and well to say that until you play solo and want to pug, even if you are a good player, the toxic shithole that is lfg will see it as “omg feral is trash let’s take another fury warrior”.

No. They buffed both. AOE now hits 8 targets before diminishing returns kicks in instead of 8. Both got buffed.

So you want to force people to play a spec they hate because it performs better? The buffs are intended to make each spec perform roughly equal, so players can choose the spec they like. Players should not be forced to play a spec they hate to have best performance.

No, he is not right in any way. AoE Dmg got buffed, especially in [6 to 8] targets because dmg reduction doesn't apply anymore for this gap and also 3% overall buff. It's written very clearly.
