A shame that they only nerfed Rygelon for Mythic difficulty. My guild is still on Anduin (hopefully we'll down him this week), but I've been told by others that Rygelon is still a pain on Heroic.

I wish that they would stop designing the game around the top 100 guilds in the world so that they wouldn't have to nerf the content a bunch of times. It really kills any sense of accomplishment when you know that you're beating a watered down version, isn't that why we have multiple difficulties in the first place?

Anduin and hotfixes. Name a more iconic duo.

When you juxtapose this with the Morgan Day interview, where Day talked about how they used new tech to estimate boss health/values, this raid has been a poor endorsement of that system lol

As opposed to what, just NOT beating them and only doing heroic?

I guess a super-mythic difficulty would solve this, but would probably complicate things too much in terms of reward structure.

I dont mind this but maybe they should just make 5 difficulties - LFR, Normal, Heroic, Mythic, Hall of Fame.

Then just tune HoF like RWF.

They could just do a raid+ system that caps rewards at raid+2. The other difficulties are just for Hall of Fame pushing, no new rewards besides that title, with Raid+15 being the unnerved week 1 raid. The 100 top guild pushers would get HoF, while everyone else could enjoy an easier mythic difficulty for cosmetics and gear from day one.

Just dont close HoF and have a harder difficulty where it is like a 3ilvl diff between Mythic and Hall of Fame difficulties where the differences is tuning and you get the title/a mount recolour of Mythic difficulty.

No. A title is fine, but having transmog/mounts from Mythic is what demands a nerfed raid. They should do a HoF difficulty / raid+ only for that title, no new mounts, no stronger gear, nothing. Just for these who really want to push, while everyone else could enjoy the easier mythic from day one.

I mean... HoF is called Hall of Fame because people are killing bosses without the giga-nerfs. No need have additional gear/mounts/items/difficulty.

Well, if people didn't beat them already then they wouldn't beat them after a few weeks.

at this point instead doing those pointless hotfixes they should just turn on ICC style buff for raid. like each week 3 % buff up to 30 %

untill those devs are fired wow will be never fun again

Sure - but how do you handle the launch - why not just clear the lower ilvl raid for loot if it is easy mode for the top 10 guilds. How do you launch without distorting RWF?

Like I think if you are top 100 type in the world a mog and title is more than fine for being top 0.001%. The mog/mount would just be a recolor so not like you dont have something similar from Mythic raid anyways. If the mount and stuff was entirely new then I could see the complaint a little better.

Going to be cross faction raiding - I would expect cross faction guilds is when it gets better since then people will just play the race they want.

Then people will whine that "super-mythic" isn't accessible to casuals and that Blizzard is designing the game for the top 0.01%, even though they don't touch anything above LFR themselves

Jesus man, you simply can't help but compare literally fucking everything Blizzard does to WotLK, can you?

Meanwhile, people wonder why Blizzard is truncating TBC Classic to rush out Wrath...

This assumes that there are Mythic guilds that will never improve their rosters and push to become better who just want easier raids. Maybe that's what you want as an individual but you can't blame Blizzard for making Mythic content legitimately difficult for the guilds who are up to the challenge. The solution shouldn't be for Blizzard to say, "fuck it, easy raids for the wheelchair accessible guilds."

Ehm no? Currently, they overtune Mythic in the first week for world first guilds and nerf it to death afterwards every 1-2 weeks. Which feels horrible. I would rather get that from the start, while I can choose my prefered "nerf" difficulty while still being able to push for HoF.

You want an entirely new raid difficulty so you're not mildly inconvenienced by challenging Mythic encounters for two weeks? lol, okay.

Nope, I want Mythic to launch at it's state it is at the end of the tier for everyone, so that more people can do Mythic from the start, while also giving HoF/RtWF Guilds their unnerved difficulty, which they enjoy.

Here's a better solution: Blizzard does what they do currently and the 11 people mildly inconvenienced by having to not suck at the game either get better or kick rocks.
