before i saw this one i was like ooo this reminds me of the Black Temple trailer that someone made, little did I know it's the same person

super cool cinematic, behind the scenes was cool too

Remember when the original WotLK-Trailer was all about how our journey through Northrend was echoing Arthas own descend from being a Hero to becoming the Lich King which ultimately played into the Death Knight? And how it played with the loneliness of the cold north while also feeling like something you could experience while leveling?

This is like the ADHD-Noise-Noise-Noise-Action-Bombast-Lol-Christopher Nolan-Goopy Gamerbrain version of that.... I mean; as a Michinima this is cool. But it feels exactly like the level of mindless shit that new Blizzard puts out that original Blizzard from back then wouldnt be caught dead with.

Amusing how they manage to imbue into such a nice video so stupid voiceover.

As others have stated its not directly made by Blizzard. More commissioned.

But also not sure what you're expecting. The original Wrath trailer worked because it was the big reveal and you're first time seeing Northrend. You're never going to get the same mystery and intrigue with something that's been around for 14 years.

What if... WHAT IF... Wotlk classic ends in a different way than the original xpac?

What does that have to do with anything? The difference in Atmosphere has no bearing on if you know the content or not. Or are Movies or Games less atmospheric to you because you saw and played them before? The Trailer is just not well made there. There would have been the option to treat the old one not with a shoddy, unhinged pseudo-remake (which this clearly is, considering it rips some textlines straight out of the trailer) and have one with more up to date cinematic animations, like Wrathgate later has. WotLK is not like BC that was Good at the time or Classic that was the beginning. WotLK is what WoW became a general pop culture icon with. Its original flair deserves some more respect, don't you think? Not like i expect the "Lets turn Arthas into a soulfart"-Blizzard to get that.

But since you said its more... "comissioned", i know exactly from whom, considering it has the same level of absurd, unfocused chaos going on as previous Machinimas that were 60% Noise and 40% Lenseflare. But thats arguably taste.
