When you relink, there will be a 7-day cooldown before you can relink a new Twitch account. After you’ve claimed your rewards on Twitch, please make sure you’re logging into the Battle.net region you’d like to receive the drop(s) on, as the first region you log into will be where your items will be delivered. I think I paid like 160 euro back than when it came out for it, and I'm still pissed. Can't wait to get my 2k euro spectral tiger invalidated.

Really, a tcg mount as a twitch drop?

I'm sure someone will come in again and be all like "just watch it on mute" but that's not the point. This is just seriously fucked up.. The value of a TCG mount just ruined and now they're even asking people to donate money to these twitch cretins for even more rewards. The second part annoys me more than the Feldrake.

    Whats next, Corrupted Ashbringer? Atiesh?

I mean, I hope they do, to teach you a lesson that spending that much money on a stupid mount is a bad idea.

Who's really the cretin, a person supporting their favorite content creator, or the idiot that paid $2k for an ugly ass transparent tiger from vanilla?

The only issue I see is the gifting part. I want to use my free Prime sub to get a pet without having to pay $10 or whatever it is. I get it is a recruit a friend style promotion to help the streamers. I guess it will depend on the pet abilities for battling and if they are going to be a unique addition.

Meh, at least it seems with the wording any wow streamer that wants to can be a part of this, so small streamers can get equal love. If it is limited to big streamers I'll be a bit pissed.

Blizzard has already been rewarding TCG loot in promotions. I'm not sure why this should be a shock or surprise. It is the risk you take when buying from a third party that has no control over production/distribution of items. It was only rare and expensive because Blizzard stopped in the first place. If they deleted WoW tomorrow there would be no value on the collectible either, right? Not that they will shut down wow any time soon.

You're NEVER getting the value back even if they didn't do this...

Think about what you're talking about. You're pretending this is an investment and it isn't. You can't sell your WoW account (legally) so why should they care about the "worth" of it?

I think having to watch twitch streamers for drops is stupid and even worse that it is now involving TCG items so none of the pets/mounts should retain value because you never know when that item gets selected next as a freebie. But the support a streamer one blows my mind. They are already going to make nice money because of viewers coming in to watch their inane channel but now they will get more money fed to them. Must be nice to be a mercenary I guess.

As soon as I saw the TCG mount I knew this would create (even more) drama. Sucks if you paid real money for it and are now pissed, but at the same time you've only got yourself to blame. I have the 2 TCG rockets (red and blue) and I really couldn't give a crap if they added them as drops, I've used them enough over the course of their existence in the game.

I myself am really only interested in the kite.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the streamers themselves decide if they want to enable twitch drops? I've no idea how it works but I thought I saw someone else post that.

WoW category had 960k peak on Shadowlands and 1150k peak on Classic (vanilla). I wonder if it was already ceiling or this promotion will elevate it even more.

To cause drama there would have to be shit ton of people that (over)paid for these mounts.

From what I understand a streamer has to opt into this with a toggle

There is no entertaining retail WoW streamer left to watch. Its just going to be played muted in the background for easy free stuff… which should have been obtainable doing actually something in the game

There is only value in TCG items that are UNUSED.

If you bought any of those TCG items and used them on your account they are valueless. Unless you're talking about selling your account which you know what that means....

So the only one's who get hurt by this are the ones who are selling the codes. If you're not selling a code, this doesn't affect you. If you're mad that you spent 2k on something that can now be obtained for 4 hours of nothingness, then that's on YOU.
  1. Kyanion's Avatar
As a perpetual purple firework owner I am a a bit sad. I loved how that item was impossible to get anymore and there weren't many of them around in the first place. This was the early part of the TCG that had upperdeck points you had to collect and then redeem on a website for a code to get the toy. I believe there was an ogre costume toy that was the same method.

So that would be the first of the TCG things that were not in game tradeable to be obtainable now. The dragon kite/feldrake as we know could be traded in game and listed on the AH.

You don't have to sub for drops, and the ones that require a sub are you gifting 2 subs, not subbing yourself.
