Meh. I usually like the cinematics but I'm not a fan of the shrill hairy feather dragon as the big bad to kick the xpac off. I don't really understand what's so insurmountable given the reactions in the video. It seems just like a mortal dragon that can... shoot lightning and create storms? They're relying on a lot of 'telling' and no 'showing' to explain her power and I'm finding it underwhelming personally.
Too contrived, too inorganic. Yet another storyline that just springs on you "oh actually there was ALL THIS STUFF LONG AGO that no one ever mentioned or talked about or ever referenced in any way but that's super important and puts the entire world at stake". Vomit.
Also i liked the cinematic, yet to see how they will manage the storytelling but i don't see any insurmountable stuff like with Shadowlands.
Still, having defeated the elemental lords already they should probably go into detail why these dragons are anything special, personal pre-headcanon is that they all ate a part of the elemental lords' powers thus making them susceptible to the old gods' domination.
Hence "Storm-eater" and all that.
(which would make them potentially more powerful than aforementioned elemental lords, and indirectly allied to the old gods)
Would open up interesting developments later on as well as their deaths would probably release all that elemental power back to the O.G. elemental lords, possibly resurrecting Ragnaros and Al'akir in the process and making them more powerful than even the titans have ever seen.
Which could open up the way for us needing the old gods' help to stand a chance against them. Or something.

Malfurion is just a mortal night elf who can shoot lightning and create storms, idk what the big deal with him is.

Afaik, we kill or at least battle her on the first raid.

As messed up as everything is Al'akir is dead due to him being killed in his elemental plane and it is likely Ragnaros follows suit of his fate as well.
So initially the dragonflights fought a war against these elemental dragonflights but instead of killing them they imprisoned them allowing them to live. Then one of the elemental dragons escapes and allows wrathion to live to tell his homies, the only know enemy and danger to the elementals because... reasons.
Honestly my first grader could come up with more compelling story telling

As far as I know this is just the last boss of the first raid not really the "big bad"
I want to like these cinematics so badly, but every time I hear something along the lines of "the Titan's stain" or "the stain of Order corruption", all I can do is cringe immensely

Is it just me or do these aspects look like 16 to 18 year olds for others aswell? Alexstraza with sprickles? would be nice if you would see their 10.000 year age on their faces just a little bit.

What is a sprickle? Also when you live forever you don't age, so 10,000 years 10 years or 1,000,000,000,000 years nothing changes.

If you can 100% control how you look, why on earth would you choose to look old/deteriorated? Youth is valued for a reason. Past 20 or so, "aging" is just decay (aside from the brain, which is like 25-27).
