The fact you think of her anything more than her original design suggested speaks high volumes of your naivete. Arguing semantics and measurements aside, and getting back on topic, $900 is hardly worth it for the new less inspiring design.

Let's be frank, these boards are full of incels that fap to my little pony. Of course they are going to think that a regular elf model with recoloured armour showing a bit of tummy and cleavage is "oversexualized". The new model is way more feminine and has an actual identity. It's all in all a great change to the character, and not because of how sexualized it is or not. There are more ways to look at things than with your dick in your hand.

The new model isn't showing any kind of tummy at all tho.

I don’t like this new alexstrasza, she looks like a villain with that makeup.

This statue however, the face looks odd.

I definitely remember them being larger in the cata cinematic when fighting death wing...

Well this paints a clear picture they defiantly did shrink her chest, i guess this is just another stupid change to show that somehow blizzard never had sexist practices in the work place. Boobs bad, women form evil, cover up!

Totally subjective, I think her old armor looked better. Also not only did they change her armor, but they changed her facial structure as well, the only Alex looked wise and powerful... the new alexstraza in the cinematic looks like a tiktok girl with makeup and freckles, its ridiculous.

Size is everything, being dynamic or detailed does diddly squat when it is too small to appreciate. The whole point is finding a balance between the three, size, detail, and design.

Your saying only the detail and design matter. Which would be cool, except suddenly you are now judging 1 inch Minifigures as better then 2 foot tall statues as display pieces.

It's not 3d printed because we know it's materials, and it is hand painted you can see such, and you have to hand paint something like this... There is no way currently to do something like this not hand painted.

I'm not seeing any shading or depth on the model. I just use the hair because of how glaring it is. The rest holds true for the whole model.

Christmas is coming up: I bought one for every member of my family!

900 dollars is worth it imho to bad i need it for my kids xmas oh well hope whoever get it enjoy it regardless

I really like the new Alex look and outfit for one, as well as this statue. I just don't agree with the price and delivery schedule, along with the fact that it'll just be broken during transit anyway.

Going to guess that comes from being based on the initial DF artwork where Alex has a severe case of resting bitchface.

They went for a regal, stoic look, but instead created a neutral, apathetic expression.

While I like the new armor as a kind of battle-ready form, I have to agree that the new face looks really meh. Same for the DF ingame model btw, she went from the figurative mother and guardian of all life (well and I guess some kind of fertility demi-god) to the afore mentioned tictoc girl.. Though it wasn't just her.. but let's better not talk about Kalec going full on bnullied emo kid with his looks..

That site you linked has larger statues (60-72cm), some with internal LED lighting (the Iron Man ones) for $260-320.

$200 for this Alexstrasza one miiiiight be pushing it, but not by much. Plus, unlike Queen Studios, Blizzard doesn't need to pay themselves for the license to sell their own statues.
