Patch 10.1 PTR - New Dark Iron Dwarf and Nightborne Customization Options

Please, I hope they add ear length to the modifiers since all the other Elves have the options

Im all for more choice, but some hair colors do not fit the Nightborne

That last new skin color displayed for Dark Iron dwarf looks weirdly detached.

I had the same reaction as well.

When will they add more customization options for the original eight races? We're stuck with 5 options when new races have 30 different toggles.

They really need to add muscle tone as a modifer really for all of the races, I made a Nightborne Warrior hoping to make a cool looking drzzt, kinda accomplished it but with how skinny they are it's hard to make plate armor look good. And more face variants for NightBorne.

Always wonder how long it takes for a dev to make a new hair color it sounds like something done in 5 min.
Always when i see them comes out with 4-5 as a feature makes me roll my eyes.

Changes are cool, but some of the colors just dont fit...
And actually same was valid for new Human colors....

Next, add some faces that aren't dogshit ugly

I hope they add more eye color options for draenei. The glowing blue eyes they have don't really stand out with most of their skin tones, unlike the lightforged draenei eyes, but I feel like I might be the only person who cares about this.

Hopefully never.

Characters already look like they are not from Warcraft, many honestly look like they are from another game.

Customizations are good, but they should have drawn a line at some point.


WoW itself is not even an MMO anymore, it´s a solo game with online options... Way too many changes.

Also give female gnomes their smile back

rather than get a few options every few years they should just feed the parameters into chatgpt and it will create hundreds of options under an hour - problem solved !

I still don't understand how they managed to fuck them up this bad. They look nothing like the NPCs.
I have a feeling they are made by two very different artists, and one of them has a hard-on for realism with all those wrinkles and stuff.

I can barely play my male Nightborne. He looks too wrinkly and old, nothing like the Nightborne we meet in Suramar.

Would probably be an issue with the elaborate ear cosmetics though

Is there any reason in 2023 why we can't choose any hair colour we want for any race? You know, like every other game in the world.

Some are alrdy stupid combinations and have little to no sense when you consider the races history or world location.

In 10.0.7

They literally just added new hair colors for orcs and humans.

Shadowlands added a ton extra at the start. And they've been constantly adding new things, like the moon warrior skin option and the dark ranger one.

Someone should tell the Darkmoon Faire to pack up then, no clowning allowed.

(For clarity, this is a silly argument and it's pretty clear any hair color should be available since, ya know, dye does exist)
