Patch 10.1 PTR - Loamm Niffen Reputation
The Loamm Niffen is a new faction that players can earn renown ranks with in Patch 10.1 - Embers of Neltharion.

These busy molefolk might not see much with their inferior eyesight, but with their distinct nose, their sense of smell is mighty. The entrepreneurial and friendly niffen make their home in Loamm and they’re always willing to barter and trade with outsiders who pay them a visit. Players can unlock their Renown tracks for rewards once they complete the first chapter of the Embers of Neltharion campaign.


How to Increase Your Renown with the Niffen Faction
Niffen reputation can be completed by doing a variety of activities in Zaralek Caverns after completing the first chapter of the Embers of Neltharion campaign.

• Zaralek Caverns Weekly Quest
• Zaralek Caverns World Quests
• Zaralek Caverns Zone Events
• Certain Main Campaign quests. Major chapter endings will grant an on use item to grant an entire Renown rank
• Certain quests unlocked around Loamm

A Worthy Ally: Loamm Niffen Weekly Quest
After completing chapter 1 of the Patch 10.1 campaign, you will unlock the ability to get a weekly quest A Worthy Ally: Loamm Niffen from Mimuup inside the central building in Loamm.

• This requires you to gain 1500 reputation with the Niffen faction by completing activities in Zaralek Caverns.
• This quest grants 500 reputation per week with the Loamm Niffen and a Scentsational Niffen Treasures.
  
  • This can contain useful gear, gold, Flightstones, and a Lost Dig Map, which is used to do Sniffenseek digs.

Researchers Under Fire Event
Researchers Under Fire is a new world event in Zaralek Caverns that grants Loamm Niffen reputation and rewards.

• Located in the Ruins of Drekazera.
• This event happens every hour on the half hour and lasts for 30 minutes.
• Phase 1 lasts 20 minutes and players must assist the Rannan and his team with tasks to lift the titan mining camp lockdown.
• Phase 2 lasts 5 minutes and has you defend the researchers from the Sundered Flame, ending in s boss fight with Captain Reykal.
• You will receive a goodie bag based on your participation that includes Loamm Niffen reputation, currency, a chance at gear, the Flaming Shalewing Subject 01 mount, and the Devourer Lobstrok pet.
  
  • Researcher's Gift - Complete 3 tasks during the event.
  • Appreciative Researcher's Gift - Complete 6 tasks during the event.
  • Thankful Researcher's Gift - Completing 9 tasks during the event.
  • Indebted Researcher's Gift - Complete 12 tasks during the event.

Miscellaneous Zaralek Caverns World Events
Periodically, random zone events will occur around Zaralek Caverns.

• These are announced via a zone shout and appear on the map.
• Rewards one of the following:
  
  • Clinking Dirt-Covered Pouch - Various currencies and 25 Loamm Niffen reputation.
  • Clanging Dirt-Covered Pouch- Various currencies and 50 Loamm Niffen reputation.

Sniffenseek Digs
Players can partake in a digging minigame with Myrrit for rewards and currency utilizing Lost Dig Map.


Snail Racing
At Renown 7, you unlock the ability to complete daily quests in Glimmerogg to earn reputation with the Glimmerogg Racer faction.

• Completing a daily quest rewards 100 reputation with the Glimmerogg Racer faction.
• You can also show Briggul specific level 25 Snail pets to receive 100 extra reputation per pet.
• Max reputation requires 2800 reputation.
• Completing max reputation with the Glimmerogg Racer faction grants the Big Slick in the City mount.

Ponzo Bartering
Ponzo is a Niffen in Loamm that will exchange goods for currency you earn during your time in Zaralek Caverns.

• Barter Brick - Earnable after reaching Renown 3.
• Barter Boulder - Earnable after reaching Renown 12.
