Patch 10.1 is live this week in both NA and EU.



What is Releasing This Week?
Patch 10.1 adds a ton of new content, and addresses some major issues still lingering from the Dragonflight launch.



What is Releasing May 9?
Season 2 of Dragonflight will begin on May 9.

Here are the Official Patch notes for the Dragonflight Patch 10.1 launch.



New Zone: Zaralek Caverns
Patch 10.1 adds a new zone to explore underneath the Dragon Isles called Zaralek Caverns,




Loamm Niffen Reputation
Patch 10.1 adds the new Loamm Niffen faction to earn Renown ranks and rewards.




Embers of Neltharion Story Campaign
Embers of Neltharion continues the story of Dragonflight, particularly focusing on the Dracthyr, Black Dragonflight, and Neltharion's legacy.






Dragonkin Rebellion Side Quest
A new side story quest sees you help Alexstrasza deal with a brewing Dragonkin rebellion.




New Tier Sets
Season 2 introduces new tier sets for all available classes.




Cross-Faction Guilds
Embers of Neltharion will allow Horde and Alliance to join the same guild and play together in specific content.




New Gear Upgrade System
Patch 10.1 overhauls the way players can upgrade their gear earned in Season 2.




New Mounts
Patch 10.1 adds quite a few new mounts to collect.




Additional Nightborne and Dark Iron Dwarf Customization
Nightborne and Dark Iron Dwarves get new hair colors, eye colors, and skin color options.




Blind Eye Customization Updates
Blind eye customization has been given to all races and an eyesight toggle has been added to the customization menu.




New Werebear Druid Form Animations
The "werebear" druid forms are getting new animations in Patch 10.1




Season 2 Begins May 9
Dragonflight Season 2 will launch on May 9, bringing a new raid, PvP season, Mythic Plus dungeon pool, and more.


Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible Raid
Aberrus, The Shadowed Crucible is the secret laboratory of Neltharion and the location of the newest raid.




Dragonflight Season 2 Mythic Plus
Dragonflight Season 2 introduces 8 new dungeons for Mythic Plus as well as a ton of affix changes.




Fyrakk Assault Outdoor Content
Patch 10.1 introduces new outdoor world content in the form of Fyrakk Assaults on the Dragon Isles Zones.

    The gane and patch are fine, it's the lack of players in my time zone that makes the game so sad. Hoping patch day fixes it.

    hell yeah. farming rare spawns for items needed to upgrade gear. its almost like we just had a patch that had exactly that! but the fun part is we get to do it for 4-7 months. so exciting!

    I am guessing you don't know how to read. Rares wont give you the necessary items to upgrade past a certain point, that is when you need to do Mythic Plus, Raiding, ETC. The flightstones can be gathered from ANY outdoor content, almost everything you do gives them. You can choose how you want to get the flightstones.....please read before commenting

    A brand new big patch comes out yesterday, and there's only 9 comments so far in this thread. In the earlier WoW days, this post would be pages long already.

    Looked at the class forums lately? Tumble weeds and crickets chirping. It's sad how empty the those forums are lately.

    Sub is lapsed atm, debating whether to resub now or wait until a few LFR wings are open.

    if lfr is all you're interested in, wait for sure! I subbed yesterday for max resets and 2 different months of trading post. Not planning on playing a ton but will give it a month or two to experience the new raid, m+ season etc and take a break til the next major.

    For me that's actually a huge improvement over SL and BFA, didn't bother resubbing for either of those after the first two months.
