New Evoker Specialization: Augmentation

Emberthal and Ebyssian are working together to release the Black dragonflight essence that had been siphoned from the dracthyr during their long stasis, unlocking memories and powers forgotten to them. All Evokers can now choose to explore Azeroth as a new specialization: Augmentation. Read more about this new specialization in our preview article.

New Mega-Dungeon Dawn of the Infinite

The Infinite Dragonflight, long-standing enemies of the Bronze dragonflight, have worked hard to see their ultimate goal of triggering the transformation of Nozdormu, the Aspect of Time, into Murazond. This eight-boss Mythic-only mega-dungeon will take players across the timeways to stop the Infinite Dragonflight from succeeding. You’ll face Iridikron and Galakrond, among others, as you work to sustain Azeroth’s timeline and put things to rights once more.

Unravel the Time Streams

Join Together for Time Rifts

The time streams have become a bit more unstable with recent events and as the boundaries between the timelines weaken, minions from other timelines have begun making their way into Azeroth. Players will join together to take on Time Rifts, push back against the waves of minions, and plug the hole to set the timeways straight again.

Eon's Fringe

Undertake new repeatable content in Eon’s Fringe as you work to settle the timeways and solve the problems brought about by their instability while reaping the rewards of a job well done.

Whelp Daycare

The dragons have more eggs than they can handle, so they've called in the crew at the Little Scales Daycare to help. The crew quickly finds itself overwhelmed and so has asked for a little help from their friends—you. You’ll guide five dragon whelps as they grow and learn about the dragon flights, earn Renown, and more.

The Warlock Class Expands to New Races

In the Fractures in Time content update, the Warlock class will become available to Night Elves, Draenei, Lightforged Draenei, Pandaren, Kul Tiran, Tauren, Highmountain Tauren, Mag’har Orcs, and Zandalari Trolls.

Warlocks will also be able to undertake a new quest line starting with the quest "Beginning Impositions,” which will unlock a new imp pet customization. Players will also be able to visit the Barbershop to customize their pets.

Class Talent Updates

More class balance and tuning is coming for mages, rogues, Holy Paladins, and more.

The Fractures in Time content update will be making its way to the PTR soon. Keep an eye on the official forums for updates and patch notes once the PTR is live.

    That new mega dungeon could be so good if they don't cheap out on some awesome events from the past.

    Oh lord I hope this opens the door for a Bard class in the future because now there is an open door for it. A girl can dream

    I feel like they could have came up with a better name for Infinite Chromie. Morchie just sounds dumb, Echomir was right there.

    I completely agree. We've gone for how many years now with lore explaining why these races can't be these classes. Now all of the sudden they can

    Yeah, a lore explanation's really going to be needed. Especially for NE's and Draenai.

    I was anticipating that we'd get warlocks for all races ahead of the remaining classes that'll require custom racial models to be developed, like totems for shamans, mounts for paladins, DH customization options+Metamorphosis forms and finally shapeshifts for druids.

    That said, I was hoping they'd at least go the extra mile to explain Draenei, Lightforged Draenei and Maghar Orc in a believable manner that is consistent with existing lore.

    Guess that was too much work after all.

    I honestly thought that post I read about there being someone at Blizzard desperately trying to get their goth girl infinite Chromie concept they've been jo'ing over the last few years approved was a joke, turns out all that desperation finally paid off.

    Also looks like they're fully going Iridikron inheriting/siphoning Galakrond's power route.

    Gross. About half of these races have no business ever being a warlock, especially Lightforged Draenei and Mag'har Orcs(which would turn green and just be...regular Orcs). And I bet they won't make customizations for the races that would logically have them with such a combo, like fel-twisted horns on Highmountain or red skin on draenei. Because the only reason those combos make sense is if they're former Eredar/Feltotem.

    Might as well just turn everything into gray blobs. If lore doesn't matter we don't need art assets to represent that lore anymore.

    This is probably a response to woke culture. you get to be something that biologically wouldn't make sense! IRL events/politics do not belong in video games.

    Chromie's evil doppelganger is named Morchie and has dark eyeliner.

    YES.

    all ( almost all) sounds very cool. But the evoker spec sounds like a must for raids. So balacing that will be a nightmare.

    but sigh....stop with all races all classes. That does not work :Warlock are kinda fell bad magic kind of people. SO night elves, lightforged ( hell even normal ones) ,pandaran, do not make sense.

    I don't mind most warlock races. An individual can make the choice to study fel magic
    But fucking LIGHTFORGED?!

    And still no troll beards. 0/10

    NE warlocks can be actually Illidari, but casters instead of real DHs. Draenei could be eredar or sargerei... But Lightforged Draenei, that is really weird. That should be explained.

    I have no idea why they do this. Is this such a requested feature? Might aswell just give every class combo to all races by now.

    Yeah, those RL warlocks are a total plague…

    Stop making every change in the game about politics and the woke-boogyman, Blizz just want to attract/keep players and sell a bunch of race-changes/level boosts, nothing more.

    I really dislike warlock for those races except maybe Night Elf who already have DH's who use fel and therefore have the door opened like that. But Mag'har makes no sense, Pandaren aren't really about that and Lightforged just, what... Can we go back to the roots soon? Can we let WoW be the fantasy world it was, that had its own template and lore? It's starting to feel like a private server.

    that is and has been the plan for awhile now...
    they want to give players free choice instead of feeling forced to not play a race/class they want because the race/class combo they want is not possible.
    they added dk, priest, mage, rogue, warrior, monk, etc, they have been working on it. they needed lore for some, and now all that remains are

    Druid= Unique animal forms
    Shaman= Unique totems
    Paladin= unique mounts
    DH= unique metamorph form and tatoos
    Evoker= whole insane can of worms.

    warlcok was the last one that just needed lore, the rest will need unique models made for each, which means it will take a bit longer.

    This right here. Some people in this game love combining their nasty ass politics with Video games. Utterly disgusting.

    You are playing a video game and nothing in a video game should make sense. Especially this game. Plus anyways the Blizz team in the beginning gave a damn about this game. But this C team here now is another thing. They just want your subs and money. Nothing more.

    Things should make sense according to the rules/laws of the universe the devs/writers have created though. It's how consistency is kept. Otherwise everything would be a ball of mess.

    Blizzard is really kicking ass with these content drops this is the first time in a long time where an interim patch .5 to be more specific feels like a huge major patch. I really hope they can keep this content pace going into the years ahead, hopefully this isn't just for DF. Cause if the next Expansion goes back to their old ways of long content droughts then I'll feel the same I did leaving Legion and going into BFA/Shadowlands. Both BFA and Shadowlands had AWFUL content pacing. DF should be the new standard going forward and if they can keep this up they'll keep my sub.

    I know.

    But i still can dislike it? or should i bend over and take it?

    And they do listen to us. Otherwise somethings from the expansion would not have happend.
    And if you think worse about the game as me, why play it then? or go to this website? if you think its all lost, they do not give a damm and want our money?
