its easier to kill a boss when you can just copy the better guilds strat. makes sense to take less time

Would this be a bad time that Echo has needed more pulls for the last boss at this point?

Side note: From the outside looking in, this raid seems quite undertuned compared to several previous tiers, if pull counts are any indicator.

According to Raider IO, it took them 114 pulls to down it.

Nice, no Disc Priests but 2 holy is interesting.

And there never will be. Community feedback when there's "lore" attached to a Mythic-only version of an encounter is almost universally negative.

The previous tiers were actually overtuned. This one was fine.

Actually it would be interesting to have these 3 guilds do a RWF without a single addon and without the 21st player as raid leader.

Blizzard is already trying to combat the prevalence of add-on dependence. Echo of Neltharion used "private auras" which was a debuff that couldn't be tracked by a WA. I imagine we'll be seeing more of these types of mechanics moving forward.

You don't even get banned in FF14, game has no anti-cheat. Most top raiders use XiVAlexander to simulate low ping, and also botting is very safe. No anti cheat is rly sad for a modern game.

I really dont follow world first, except for maybe the last boss, because i miss when raiding was like this, people actually got excited to down stuff not just another loot pinata, even working on heroic right now we downed the 4th boss and it was almost quiet as a tomb in there, but that could just be my experience with raiding these days, Grats to them!!!

Also big difference in that this end boss wasn't a 10+ minute fight, iirc someone on liquid said if the fight was as long as other end bosses it would have easily added another 100-200 pulls.

If you knew why you wouldnt have made this post. It had nothing to do with hunters damage. It had to do with holy priests interaction with defensive cds. Hunters turtle does not get CD reduction, Exhilaration does. Meaning if your trying to survive big dmg bringing classes whos defensives provide damage reduction is more helpful than a heal defensive.

Congrats to Liquid, was fun watching them trying to get the kill with their last wipes and then to go ahead and finally do it.

Echo were right on their tail too! Exciting stuff

At the end of the day it was a short race, but I think I prefer that.

While I do think that Liquid overall performed better than Echo this Tier, the fact that there is a headstart for NA is still relevant. It's not even grounds - Echo might have had more trys, but still took about a day less. I would love to see the event hosted on even grounds, or have the Timer for RWF start from the actualy reset of your respective region. I would REALLY love to see how this would end up.
