Song is cool... but what exactly does it do with Diablo?...
It would be great anthem for new LoL champion instead.
I am 33yo and sometimes feel like true boomer not understanding only a few years younger people stuff...
Yo, D4's art is freaking awesome but I don't see how this music is linked to that. There is absolutely nothing Diablo in it.
The worst part is that Blizz probably gave her lots of money for a work they would probably have done 100x better in-house in their art department. Probably money laundering or outright moron decision, dunno
I think I would have preferred it without the collaboration. The song combined with the video is a lot better than her earlier performance of the song but that is likely studio versus live and all the work and practice to get it perfect.
Im honestly tired of Halsey forcing herself into every damn franchise I like. The video was boring, the song was boring, the random k-pop idol outa nowhere. What the hell was this? I atleast expected some action from the video but there was literally nothing, just Halsey walking. When you think you have lowered your standards for Blizz, they always find a new low bar to set and disappoint.
If the video wasn't filmed in the Chapel/Church they painted with a Diablo theme you would have no ideia this song is related to Diablo at all, much less an anthem.
I liked the heavy synth background and the vocals weren't terrible but the BTS verse was weak as fuck and the entire video consists of Halsey walking down the world's most questionably long church corridor only to eventually stop and look at a picture of Lilith... like, what?

Halsey, and her family, are apparently fans of the Diablo franchise and have played the games. I'd hardly call it "forced" either when Blizzard had to agree to feature a preexisting song for their game.

It was the one Blizzard had canvas paintings installed on the ceilings that used the faces of contest winners so it is at least cool to see them using it in a lot of their promotions.

Yeah, I don't think it's completely void of artistic merit... it just seems like the video was building to something then it just ends. /shrug
