Fyrakk was kinda cool here dont know much about him tho.

The NE was Ysera's grandkid I guess?

Is it confirmed 10.2 is Emerald Dreams themed?

Great work on those original and unexpected storylines, Blizzard. Can't wait to see how this all ends
Yeah, because no one at all uses ever a trope in their writing.

While it is not super original, the quality is top notch and engaging, and very very entertaining. Seeing these characters talk and gesture is fun, and the voice actors really sell it.

I foresee Fyrakk dying this expansion, but I can see the others actually surviving in some form. At least the ice lady.
Yeah, that's what sets actual characters apart from cardboard cutouts with names, like the jailer: Mannerisms, that's what made Denathrius such a fan favourite, and Vyranoth has a line she won't cross, that makes her more interesting too.

I agree that Fyrakk is going to die soon, the void corruption (As hinted at with the shadowflame in his eyes) is taking hold, good thing too, "Fire guy evil RARR BURN EVERYTHING!" is the most simplistic of the three. (And those dippy little t-rex arms in his protodrake form made the whole Zaralek cinematic laughable, too)

Really, my only complaint about the cinematic is that I wish Fyrakk hadn't started talking before we saw him. We start with the dragon guy on the ground, breathing hard and trying to get up. He slowly turns his head up and there is Fyrakk. Just....staring at him. I think that would have been a cooler and creepier shot. But other than that, good cinematic.

But in all seriousness, I hope we don't see Vyranoth "flip to good" so quickly after literally saying "vengeance is all that remains".

    What Jailer? Where?

This is actually cool plot seeing Vyranoth going on our side.Yay!

At this point I'm almost starting to feel burnout from all the cinematics that are just the Incarnates engaging in very predictable interactions with eachother. What about the Aspects? What about their interactions with the Incarnates? What about the epic fight scenes from previous xpacs?

One of the better cinematics this expansion. We could've had this in Shadowlands if The Jailer hadn't been the Walmart brand Darth Vader that we grew increasingly more annoyed by as the expansion continued.

I imagine we'll get a more action-oriented cutscene with 10.2. These midway cinematics are a new fixture for the way WoW content is delivered so I cut them a bit of slack in that regard.

She isn't. She's still on their side. The other 2 are losing focus. If you think anything about that said she was "on our side" you haven't been paying attention to the story this expansion at all. Then again, yes, she is on "our" side as the titans are not.

Iridikron is inviting the void to Azeroth so he's also lost sight of the plan they all had originally, although maybe he thinks both will destroy each other and free the planet.

She was protecting a dragon, not us.

Humans, dwarves, gnomes are children of the Titans, she would never have protected any of us.

All the incarnates are insane, they are a plague and need to be stomped out for there to be peace. Alexstrasza is to blame for not killing them years ago...

besides, if we don't kill that frosty dragon, we don't get to loot her...and that is unacceptable!

Mannerisms are so important and it's a shame not more characters in WoW have them properly developed. Wrathion definitely do and it helps build his suave character, but for some reason it only seems to have been reserved for the more charming characters.

I've always found the protodrakes with their itty bitty arms to look rather silly, hence why I don't use the mounts so much. Should have just made them proper wyverns from the start(like Skyrim dragons), but then you would have the missing extra set of limbs issue.

You should play the expansion then if you wanna know more about him.

all green dragons are ysera's offspring, and the NE was a green dragon.
and yeah its pretty much confirmed at this point.

weve already had a few fighting cinematics, cinematics with the aspects interacting with eachother, and the incarnates.

Literally no story ever is original, there is 7 original stories and that is it, every story after that is just a copy of those stories.

I really love the idea that Fyrakk is going crazy and wanting to destroy everything and Vyranoth just wants to do what they planned to do, slowly setting up a Fyrakk vs Vyranoth fight. My idea is that at the end fight we slowly lose and Fyrakk is closing in on the new world tree. The moment Fyrakk is attacking the new World tree and killing alot of green dragons Vyranoth can not take it anymore and fights Fyrakk. We together with Vyranoth kill Fyrakk only for Iridikron to come in and kill Vyranoth and thus setting up 10.3 or perhaps 11.0

Why do the super 2-dimensionally evil ones always have the most annoyingly grating voices? Like nails on a chalkboard.
