I'm the biggest hater of hearthstone...and i was a player for a long time...but now im just a grumpy old man who still follows hearthstone news just to hate on it.
What a hate boner i have...

Please...don't monetize this game as bad as Hearthstone...

When it says pre-register, is that just clicking notification when it’s released on the Apple Store?

I had the beta for it and not sure if it is something I really like. I hope it is a success and inspires Blizzard to remake Heroes of the Storm into a PvE style game. A quick casual co-op/family friendly game. If the Microsoft merger does go through then they could even add in all the different IP's as heroes and maps. A minecraft dungeons style of game.

I don't understand why people give their money to these labmade mobile games, basing every step of development on statistics, psychology and fuckhead words like player retention.

Why does a f2p game have a preregister?

It's just to be notified/auto-install the game once it releases. Its a harmless marketing gimmick that many mobile games have used in the past.

Can you actually articulate why Blizzard making a mobile game you never have to play is a bad thing?

The game is fun and not time-demanding. The monetization is tempting for certain units of bundles, but I got everything by playing (sometimes it takes time)

    Sad reality of our times.
I would not install this dogshit even if they pay me for playing.

I have one game on my smartphone and that's Mahjong, for times if I have to wait somewhere. Maybe there are games for mobile I would like, but I can't really see much on the small display. I tried to play something on my tablet, but why? I have a pretty good PC with 2 big monitors. Why should I waste my neck for such a game? Maybe I'm to old to understand the 'magic' of these cheap games, that make other people rich because they implement mindcontrolling mechanics that make the player buy stuff with microtransactions.

Cant wait to not playing this

Hard pass for me and it's probably like every other mobile game where you get to a point where you have to pay to make some progress or can pay to skip and even if it's not it's not my kind of game.

The art style though, big nope.

Well after Diablo Immortal being one of the most monetizing games in existence one will be worried. Perhaps this one is different though still for me personally i dont like the style at all.

imo there is a clear difference between monetization here and diablo immportal though.

Diablo was virtually impossible to progress past a point without buying crests or whatever it was called, this is just time gating (i think.. i hope)

But if this is a clash royale style progress system, buying will not feel at all mandatory to progress.

    Time will tell i guess.
