WoW Classic: What's Next? There is a whole panel, so I doubt they'll just talk about Cataclysm.
We also have SOM 2 or whatever it's going to be called. Basically a new season for Classic which they already mentioned is going to happen at some point.
Wow, I feel sorry for those who purchased live tickets, $300 general admission is steep for pretty much nothing. I can sit and watch from my tablet instead.

yeah the idea of doing everything free to watch online means we lost all the cool behind the scenes panels from the art team etc
I want to be excited for what is next for WoW. But is hard to keep the excitement when Shadowlands and Dragonflight have been terrible so far. I really hope something good is being made for WoW.
Sure it sucks to lose all the art panels and whatnot, but my guess is those were nowhere near as popular as the big announcement ones - and so if you stream everything (and cut back on content in general) they'd naturally be the first ones to go.
It's not like Blizzcon was ever really more than 1-3h total per game as what boils down to a highlights-only slideshow. The information content was always fairly sparse.

I think it's the other way around. I think it's free exactly because it has nothing and people would be pissed off to pay for a virtual ticket and find out it has only a cpl hours content.

I think it's time you move on. SL and DF are opposites, so if you hate both, there's nothing left for you to like. Maybe you've outgrown the type of game that requires this much time investment and grind. I find myself in that boat.
Or maybe you'd be happier in Classic.

Okay well Dragonflight hasn't been terrible so far especially comparing it to shadowlands.
Edit: And only 2 hours for WoW (not including Classic) seems kind of low if they are covering an expansion
Literally every.single.Blizzcon you get 1 hour for whats new and 1 hour for deep dive. If there is something more, it's some side stuff like voice actors or e-sport. And Q&A, but that's confirmed for post-Blizzcon.

That's interesting. Maybe new IP will be there after all? Would be strange to hide D4 panel.

<----- Did not know. It always felt like the deep dive was more extensive and took more time than an hour. Maybe I was including past Q&A's into that time.
