Have you seen Havocs doing 30% more dps than any other player in M+? I mean even trash ones who die because they can't play keep up with damage easy because of how OP they are during the time they manage to live.

yes i have, just buff others instead of nerfing dh, reven if u nerf them they will still be good for their utility

Utility does not matter as much as you think it does. Look at S1 prot paladin and S2 prot paladin. You know what changed from it being absolutely dominant to worst performing tank? Certainly not the "most broken/irreplaceable utility"

Also if you think buffing that many specs by THAT much is easier than nerfing DH which is the biggest problem - I don't know what to tell you.

Always in favor of buffs instead of nerfs problem is blizz is completely incapable of buffing properly. If you look at SP for example they're like 20% behind on ST so wtf is a 5% buff gonna do? And when you get to M+ balance is even worse.

i disagree since s2s m+ comp was meta due to its utility after augvoker and spriest dmg got hammer like 3 times that season.

ok heres a question i just saw a blue post on wow head saying more buffs and nerfs are coming on the 5th.

which classes do u think should be nerfed and which should ge nerfed? and why?

I think the point here is that we'll be waiting one more week for the "post-race" tuning. Just long enough for people to commit to a character. Hold on to your butts.

There's a reason no developers do this. Changing one outlier is far easier than changing the 30 others.

That's almost never how it works in M+, but it's the opposite way round: you pick the sickest pumpers and then craft your strategy around whatever utility you have available.

It's how people misunderstood Shroud on Rogues for a long time - they thought Rogue would always be meta in M+ because Shroud always allows skips, but the reality is that Rogue was taken for its performance, and Shroud was simply something that you also had at your disposal and made use of.

There's a few exceptions here and there especially for things like MDI which have specific demands, but by and large, M+ is first and foremost about performance.

It's not or Aug wouldn't still be meta in high keys, it's no longer the optimal dps setup. It's about survival. Doesn't matter how much your spec can blast if it's squishy and can't survive 26s. Protadin and VDH are also not the highest dps tanks right now, blood and brewmaster are but Protadin and VDH make you live pulls with millions of stops, interrupts or silences.

In MDI speedrun scenario when you're playing keys well below your skill level, yea performance is the most important factor but in actual high key pushing? lol no.

And you think "performance" ONLY means DPS performance? Healers and tanks exist, too, you know.

It's about DPS for DPS classes, but Aug is a special case because it's DPS only as a technicality - it's Support.

You'd think affliction warrior was the joke of this post, then you notice the insulting shadow priest tuning.

Better they do weekly damage tunings to push specs into better states as the weeks go on vs huge buffs or nerfs that may overdo it for long periods of time.

No (my spec) which is in the worst state any spec has ever been in in this game needs at least a 30% damage buff right now, all other specs need to be nerfed by at least 50% and then we're close to being balanced. Knee jerk reactions always lead to success.
