Ya it’s incredibly reassuring for any one who’s actually kept track of how expans have been since tbc.
Reassuring to those that want to pay more... and reassuring for those that don't. A win/win
The expansion that no one wants to remember...to the expansion that no one will remember...

"no one will remember" lol, right.

DF is very well received among those who actually play it, so it's not surprising you have this take

They both *worked* just fine with their scheduling, no matter how much you want to seethe at blizzard.

exactly. SL/DF in this conversation were used as benchmarks for the scheduling, not the "quality", so this dude is just strawmanning. And if they are using DF as a benchmark for quality im all for it, because its been excellent overall

Yes...and so much content that many canceled their sub after a month of play. Lacking such revenue it's no wonder hundreds of blizz employees got sacked.

Except grocery stores keep putting things on sale often enough. Actual FOMO removes said item after the limited time period. But thanks for playing.

The bananas ain't the same the next time. How can you be sure the next batch is as big? What if you don't like the looks of the next batch?

got a source on "many canceling their sub after a month of play?"

and the wow team was the least impacted team at blizzard. that means microsoft view them as the strongest and most profitable IP at blizzard.

The analogy is intentionally bad because the term FOMO is so frequently misused that it has lost all meaning.

Least impacted still translates to hundreds of jobs lost. And since we still have that thread available; https://www.mmo-champion.com/threads...e12?p=54373025

So uh... did DF "lack of success" cause the whole gaming industry to dip to the point we got massive layoffs around the industry, or are we trying to create a make believe scenario where blizzard is immune to this and just happened to cause it themselves at the same time?

theres literally no evidence whatsoever that the wow team had "hundreds of people" laid off, thats complete and utter fiction LOL. where the fuck are you getting that number?

not only that, theyre creating a make believe scenario where the WoW team had hundreds of people laid off, which couldnt be further from the truth. For all the available information, the number of people on the wow team who got laid off wouldnt even hit double digits

dude is just spreading blatant lies

Maybe you should've kept up with current events. I did link the actual page in the appropriate thread. Perhaps you should respond to the person saying such...

i read the page, where in that thread does anyone mention the wow team having hundreds of people laid off? are you ok? the only thing remotely related to what youre saying is where someone said actiblizz laid off 800 people. the WHOLE of activision and blizzard, not the wow team.

i will say it again; for the available information we have, the wow team is by far the least impacted team at blizzard, and their total layoffs are utterly miniscule compared to the other teams and departments involved.

Let’s see, you can pay for what? 2 extra months or so if your subbed for the whole duration and get content that whole time, or save on 2 months but have no content at all for like a year like we had before.

Seems like a deal to me, but Mabye you like geting nothing for your money if it means you save a small amount?

You cannot be serious. For that money you can get a full amazing game like Elden Ring .. how the fuck are 6 retarded models generous?

That's like saying "instead of buying sauce to put on your noodles you could buy some chewing gum"

Watch your blood pressure before you get an aneurysm.
It is very simple, the 6 mounts would under normal circumstances be 150 euro, but right now with the discount they are 49.99, whether or not mounts on the store er overpriced or not in general is irrelevant, it is still much cheaper and thus a very generous discounted price. Would I buy it? No because I don't want to spend 44.99 on cosmetics, but it is still a good discount, no matter how much my comment seemingly offends you.
