It's funny, when you compare the number of comments these posts get, you'd almost think that none of the player base cares about these Arena tournaments.

To be fair, when have you last seen a PvPer actually playing the game instead of just pretending they do on forums?

The numbers for AWC aren't amazing but all of the videos from this AWC are at a minimum in the 10s of thousands of views. The cup 1 finals from 7 days ago is at about 170k views, so there is still some interest in AWC. When you consider that the views for most Youtube channels that cover this game are way down those aren't bad numbers. It's just not represented in the vocal online community at all.

i have seen and discovered european bands with over a million views and not backed by a muliti billion dollar company. on the service sure 170k would seem alot but compared to the vast player base 170k is nothing.

I'm not sure what bands have to do with anything I'm talking about here. I'm comparing the views for AWC relative to other WoW content on Youtube. As it is, those videos are among the highest, if not the highest, viewed on Youtube lately related to the game. Obviously there is a large portion of the playerbase that is not interested in AWC or other WoW eSports. They don't seem to be interested in anything else on Youtube either since even larger channels like T&E struggle to get over 100k views nowadays.

i was using a return on investment , that was my logic basing on my train of thought. dont miss understand me if players want to do a high level mythic runs with other fans thats fine but if blizzard is backing it , its in my eyes in utter failure. thats all.
