Dragonflight Season 4 - Complete Weekly Awakened Activities for Sparks of Awakening
With 10.2.6 PTR now available for testing, we can have a look at how to obtain Sparks of Awakening in Dragonflight Season 4.

Every week, players will have to complete one of three open world quests from different Dragon Isles zones:
  • Dragon Isles - Last Hurrah: Dragon Isles
    • Complete the Community Feast event
    • Complete a Grand Hunt
    • Lay siege to Dragonbane Keep
  • Zaralek Caverns - Last Hurrah: Zaralek Caverns and Time Rifts
    • Complete the Researchers under Fire event
    • Loot a Secured Shipment from a Suffusion Camp
    • Help Soridormi dispel a Time Rift
  • Amirdrassil - Last Hurrah: Emerald Dream
    • Gather 100 Dreamsurge Coalescence
    • Earn 50 Bloom during the Superbloom event
    • Complete 1 Superbloom event
    • Plant 3 Dreamseeds in the Emerald Dream

This week on the Public Test Realms, only the quest related to the Emerald Dream zone was available, while those for the Dragon Isles and Zaralek Caverns zones were unavailable. Completing Last Hurrah: Emerald Dream rewarded us with:

Although the Weekly Awakened Activity spell description indicates that the quest "can reward you with a weekly spark for crafting", only one half of the spark was rewarded. Please note that this is a preview for PTR content, which is subject to change.

No, but they added the Dinnars, which will let you get items that once obtained, never need to be replaced, you can upgrade them all the way from the lowest to the highest, they are called the awakened path, and have like 16 ranks.
so that should help a bit.
but yeah M+ is locked to 1 myth item a week, cause if you could farm them from end of dungeon runs, raiding would be 100% pointless.
cause raid is locked to 1 lockout a week, but if M+ you could just infinetly do for myth gear...? yeah people would be full BIS week 1, which is not good, raiding would die.

and this is as a M+ andy myself, have not seriously raided since M+ got added in legion really.

Never really got this argument. I guess if your only gearing path is thru crafted items, sure; but, I’m going to be subbed doing raids and m+, and having a slower gearing progression from crafted items isn’t going to change that.

Ungate it and let people go bonkers. It's only the same raids and dungeons buffed up a bit anyway.
Yeah let's make all gear useless other then crafted gear. Genius idea you got there.

Can't wait to have to decide if I want to craft PVP or PVE or DPS or Healing gear with my one character XD Can't wait to decide which set of gear I should socket first. Gonna take all season to get all that done. Oh wait I can simply make 3 alts and do it the easy way. But I won't because this game is so bad now, it's just so terribly bad.

What is this quest even? Can't wait to fly to Iskaara to afk at the soup event once per week tho, I like that place. Or well every third week.

As posted earlier, I was under the impression there weren't going to be fated raids (for some reason). Now I've been corrected, the 2 weekly spark makes more sense to me.
