Explain to me exactly what evergreen content would be added to the patch instead of this Remix thing

Amen. Can’t believe they’re removing Pandaria and now we’ll never be able to level there or do any of the content again after remix ends.

    Right? RIGHT?

As much as it pains me to agree with Luthorite, they could add it wiithout the limited time aspect. The innovcation of this pandaria remix needs to be noted, but so do the fact that they are adding an unecessary time constraint.

I think the time constraint is to not detract from a new expansion. I’d bet money this will come back in S4 (or sooner!) of TWW but probably alongside another expansion.

It’s primarily a leveling system, first and foremost. Hence the new toons. Why keep it running when the new expansion launches?

We don’t know how long it will last. Could be that it runs until the prepatch or even until expansion launch, which will be 3-4 months. That’s a solid chunk of time

Sooner that I expected for MOP remix. Nice that we will have time to do all 3 fated raids b4 this drops.

And why not keep it running ? Players may want to level a new toon, regardless of if there is a new expansion or not, so why not give them more options to do so ?

I sure hope that it will last at least until the prepatch, but the issue is not the duration, it's the fact that it's time limited, as a concept. This would be just as much of an issue if it was planned be available only until 2035.

Like, why put in the extra-work of planning an end date instead of just adding it forever and letting people play it if they feel like it ?

They worded it poorly here, but they've said in earlier articles that they're removing the Renown requirements for the questlines that required them at launch. (things like protecting Amirdrassil's seed, the Expedition butting heads with Sarkareth before he pissed off to the Forbidden Reach, etc.)

Because they plan to do more? I seriously doubt that this is a one and done thing.

Players can play MoP whenever they feel like it. The entire point of this event is gems that do insane things that they are absolutely not going to QA test forever with every patch to make sure none can ever be glitched into the main game.

The coolest thing about it, being able to raid while leveling would be dead as fuck after TWW launched anyways. There is no logical point in keeping it up. It being limited makes sure it's active when it's relevant and needed.

They will obviously do other remixes in the future during content droughts as long as it is popular.

On steroids with tons of cosmetic rewards and mounts. But it is optional indeed.
