Dark Heart Content Update Notes
Here are the official content update notes for Dragonflight Patch 10.2.7 Dark Heart.



The War Within Prologue
Khadgar has summoned us and Alleria Windrunner to investigate a mysterious figure called the Harbinger, who possesses a powerful relic called the Dark Heart.



Draenei And Troll Heritage Armor Sets
Draenei and Troll characters level 50 and above can start new questlines to unlock their heritage armor sets:
  • Draenei - Seek out the Magically-Sealed Parcel in Stormwind to begin the quest "An Artificer's Appeal".
  • Troll - Seek out Zi'guma in Orgrimmar who will offer the quest "Return to the Echo Isles".



New Dragonflight Quests

  • All Dragonflight quests that previously became available with Renown levels are now available to all max-level player-characters, regardless of Renown.
  • Be Yourself Celebration
    • After learning from Chromie and Kalecgos about the Visage Day celebrations of Azeroth's past, Emberthal feels pressured to choose her own visage form. However, she remains uncertain of the path she should take. Speak with Chromie in Valdrakken to learn more.
  • Sins of the Sister
    • A night elf has arrived at Bel’ameth to bury the family she lost at Teldrassil. But when her deceased sister is revealed to be a traitor, will the night elves show her sister forgiveness or demand accountability for her sins? Level 70 players can speak with Malfurion Stormrage at the Terrace of the Moon in Bel'ameth to accept the quest An Uncommon Request and start this questline.


Hunter Pet Stable Update
The Hunter pet stable has received several changes:
  • The pet preview window is now larger.
  • More information about the pet is displayed, including a list of abilities.
  • Pets can be favorited and added to a separate group at the top of the stable list.
  • The stable list is now searchable and sortable by name, specialization, abilities, and more.
  • Pets can now be renamed directly from the stable without certificate items.
  • Pets can now be released directly from the stable without needing to be summoned.
  • For the Beast Mastery specialization, the pet that is summoned by the Animal Companion talent now has a dedicated slot next to the Active pet list. The tooltip has been updated to reflect this change.

    I wonder if the Dark Heart quests are going to be spread out over multiple weeks or all in one go, because Remix is next week

    Did they just pick a bunch of green items at random for the Draenei set?

    Troll set is cool.

    Draenei set fits the concept art from TBC.

    I actually think it looks better than Trolls. Not everything has to be crystal encrusted

    Troll set looks like a Shaman set but I like some bits of it. I'll take the belt, feet, legs and chest. The Helm gloves and shoulders I will switch for something more cloth/priest.

    Eh, I'm not crazy about either set tbh, but I feel like both sets have some usable items that can be mixed with what we already have in-game to come up with some decent Transmogs that are thematic for each race.

    Go look up the concept art for Draenei, it's a very clear reference to that (with some alterations).

    Troll set looks cool imo. It's very Darkspear looking, I'm not really sure what else they could of went with. Trolls are primal so they don't really need a busy heritage transmog. Simple mogs always look better on them.
    My Shaman will be using it for a bit.

    Draenai set just looks dumb questing gear you'd get on draenor.

    Prob this as there are definitely more cinenatics to come. One where she is fighting Turalyon according to the trailer

    We can solo BFA raids now, Dazaralor just fell over until I got to Rastakan, everything is chill and basically zero damage until bwomsamdi ressurects the 3 adds then I just explode, are you supposed to do something special at that point? bubble/defensives did nothing

    LOoks like all in one go as I received an achievement at the end of the quest chain.

    I mean to be fair, they fell over before this patch too. my question is: did Conclave have the damage reduction when they are near each other? and did Akunda coming out cause you to be mind wiped until you died?

    Yeah exactly. Thats why even some of the more lame appearance items we get might potentially have SOME use to them if your trying to put a costume together or something.
