Now that running pugs is pointless, I've given up on the whole mess that is remix.

Ran Scarlet Monastery, got no credit for the run because I wasn't able to be at the bosses for kill credit. SOmeone is doing 5million dps and has a speed of ludicrous.

Honestly I've had the same experience doing LFR and random dungeons / scenarios. It isn't fun when someone is in there running at lightspeed obliterating everything while you are stuck trudging along at a snails pace compared to them. I've stopped playing remix because of that.

I've done a few runs with such players and when I miss out on a kill credit I just reque once the run's done. On next group I ask folks to make sure everyone's in the room before they nuke the boss so everyone gets the kill credit. When you take no damage in Remix, there's no reason to rush through LFD/LFR unless it's a premade group IMHO.

I did a run like that last night. they carried me through HSOO and were polite enough to rez me 2k times lol. Guy was doing like 11mil dps on each boss basically. All in all sure it wasn't the best experience since I was like a dead log most of the time but I got some nice bronze and epic drops with double secondary stats. I feel like just talking a little to the group helps a lot.

cool, I still will not be able to get even to 200k stats with how slow and grindy everything is

'just requeue' ... lol. Takes well over half an hour to get in once, and I didn't get ANY kill credits.

Group content is dead in remix now, just going to level a few more toons to get 40k or so bronze for the mounts/pets I want and be done with it.

Yes, it's impossible to do quests, loot or dps/heal when someone like that is in the group. You just need to put a big marker on their head and run after them. When everything is dead, you can go back to loot or quests. No need to do anything, just run so you're there when bosses go down.

    Can't - they have +ludicrous speed boost.

I would complain but honestly I don't think most players would reach 10 million of a stat. Someone will, maybe a few, but honestly at that point you can probably solo raids

Spec for speed too? Use that 8% speed increase, or blink, or get one of those 'yank him back' gems. I've been in many dungeons and raids with people who clear it in seconds, but I was never too late for a boss, even though I'm not specced for speed nor do I have a high ilevel or cloak.

I'm so far behind these people - I'm at around +800 speed, these people are at +20000 speed.

I'm a level 70 with 346 gear other than the amulet, fully gemmed and tinkered up yet you contribute absolutely nothing because everything you do LFG wise is either dominated by a frogger or dominated by a level 20 blasting the shit out of everything. Remix was fun for a while but the scaling and "exploit" completely killed it off for me.

It's irrelevant, cloak is infinite. If some madman would get close to 10M, they would up that number again. That's why it was only 200k, they.. underestimated people resolve in grinding for casual event.

true. I kinda want to see someone get close. just to see what kinda HP they have.

I'm sorry, but what is the point of all this? Do you just one-shot solo mythic raids? Does a million speed make you move at the speed of sound?

It's all a dream anyway, and every item on your person and in your bags vanishes when you wake up at the end of the event (you get a new set of level-appropriate ordinary gear and that's it). At least in regular Retail I get to keep the gear I got, even if it's obsolete two weeks later.

I've enjoyed doing the MoP questing, but see no point in playing once reaching level 70.
