I like this. Didn't make much sense that PvE and PvP reward weekly lockout was shared.

I like this a lot. Making the game less of a grind. Its not a ton more, but it sure looks like enough.

They've flipped the 1st win and subsequent win values, or am I reading it wrong this early in the morning..?

PvE rewards are not competitive in PvP environments (save the rare trinket or whatever, let's hope there aren't many of those in the War Within), and craftable PvP stuff is better than what you get from the PvE vaults. At most, you might want to do some PvE the first couple weeks of a season while you fill all your gear slots up with high iLvL items, but the first few weeks of a season matter fuckall since season ranks and rewards are decided by the end of the season, when everyone who cares is full PvP geared already, so only antsy little rabbits that have nothing better to do will feel any necessity to do PvE unless they actually enjoy it.

I don't get these systems lol, so basically their equilant of 10 weeks of vault pvp items is 1 lesser pvp item? makes sense. Now gearing in PVP DEFINITELY won't matter until week 11 when the game begins. Which is somehow a good change since we'll no longer be tied to the weekly vault roulette system which means less fomo, but still the issue with the game not beginning until week 11 is boring, shouldn't be 11 weeks should be like 6 weeks or less lol.

I mean the whole weekly upgrading my character for PVP thing is lame, i don't mind having to grind PVP to gear a character for PVP but when it's this buildup for 11 weeks to get a taste for the ILVL upgrade it gets A BIT generic come season 2-3-4 etc, but I suppose they'll plan a "AHH FINALLY NOT 11 WEEKS" uncap for season 4 XDDDD so bad.

Just personally engaging with full season 1 gear in start to middle of season 2 feels SUPER bland and boring, replacing the ILVL on same statted items week after week, like that's engaging? I get why it's engaging in season 1 tho, I guess I'll see but Dragonflight PVP timegating has been super lame, should be less lame or more PVE to PVP, not like this artificial time gating pvers have to deal with, makes no sense in PVP at all.

There's functionally no difference between max level vault gear and pvp gear, due to this you're going to be wanting to farm PVE gear in the vault at least for secondary stats on armor than can be made into tier.

Is it though? After 10 weeks there's only a 700 conquest difference so... Less than a piece of gear? Means PVPers are going to be gearing much slower.

Not to mention 40 Conquest for an arena win? Insanely grindy. Cataclysm classic has 250 conquest for a win.

Only 4/14 (head, legs, chest, weapon) slots cost more than 700 Conquest.

The average cost of a piece of conquest gear based on the total cost of all 14 slots is 662. Your complaint is disingenuous.

It's not disingenuous I just haven't played DF in a while and I forgot but I remember how bad the conquest farm was because it's one of the reasons I stopped playing.

Even if 700 conquest is enough for some of the gear (except the good slots) that's still pretty crap because you're giving up 10 weeks chances of gear for 1 guarantee'd extra piece of gear with this new system.

Hopefully it's better next time round as I will give it a shot
