Remix Ensemble Tracker - New Addon to Track Your Collection in Pandaria Remix
Today we are having a look at Remix Ensemble Tracker, a new lightweight addon to track your armor ensembles in Pandaria Remix!

Addon features:
  • Tracks ensemble purchases across all characters.
  • Adds "already purchased" tooltips for ensembles that you have already acquired.
  • Automatically changes the class filter at Grandmaster Jakkus to "All".
  • Lightweight and simple to use.

How to use the addon:
  • Log your character and interact with each vendor for the addon to detect your purchased ensembles.
  • If you have purchased ensembles on multiple characters then repeat this process with all of them.
  • After checking the vendors with all your characters, the addon will add the "already purchased" tooltip to armor ensembles you've acquired.

Did you purchase an ensamble, not learn it, and then refund it? The addon tracks what ensembles have been purchased, without checking what has been learned as far as I can tell.

Trove Tally is great for weapons! Although... it's currently kinda a waste of time to farm weapons, especially if Blizzard is working on implementing some hotfixes for collectibles (and maybe/potentially adding some weapon arsenals).

No, and I've since found another item like that as well. The first one was real obvious; it was the Tusks which I haven't learned on either Remix or Live (and don't have the bones to buy and refund even if I wanted to). The second was a random ensemble that I had no pieces learned from.

I haven't bought and refunded anything.

Still going to keep the addon because it's a big help despite needing to double check stuff against the spreadsheet I have been u sing, but not sure why its being weird.

Edit: Okay, I figured out how to trigger this: if you click the item even if you don't buy it, it will print the purchased message in chat and add it to future tooltips. So if you are control or shift clicking to view or link and regular click in the process, the addon will think you purchased it even though you haven't. You don't even need to go as far as buying and refunding. So I guess don't suck at clicking like me.

I adore, and am using, Can I Mog It and this isn't the case. You have to mouse over the invididual items in the master list to determine if you know it from remix -- where its shared between armor classes -- and live -- where unless you've collected every single off-set piece, only that particular class can use it.

Something labeling as purchased for the things you've already bought on remix is a much quicker way to see you actually know it on remix without having to look at the tooltips on a bunch of individual pieces. It's not foolproof because you still need to check individual item tooltips for learned-from-drops, but it does help a bit for clearly eliminating some things from your To Buy list.

People who make these addons are awesome and i want to thank blizzard themselfs for not bothering and only waiting like 3 week to ask for suggestions . TY blizz don't ever change.

I just downloaded the addon and it's showing "already purchased" for some items that are missing pieces on the tooltip. It's helpful but definitely has its flaws.

first mmo champmion posts fake news about the tabard and bomb and now they're posting broken addons in reccomendations? this shit spews errors every time i visit a vendor? don't anybody test this shit before posting shit? this site has seriously gone down hill LMAO

Also it only works on items that you have purchased through the vendor. If you collected a Tier-Set through dungeon drops (or already had it on live-realm), it won't show as "already purchsed"- So in it's current state, it's not really useful.

Several top collectors in the world, including myself, test these things before I get to write and post about them. I have collected everything in Pandaria Remix and besides All The Things, this was the only addon/tool that let me accurately know what I have already purchased from the vendors.

That little part might need a bit of a review.

I just have a WA that breaks it down into categories what I still need, my Bronze total, and how much I steel need. Seems to work fine, apart from it telling me I need over 1 Million Bronze

It doesn't on Remix, for armor sets that aren't your armor type. If I go on my plate wearer, it doesn't show me all the leather sets I own, for example. It only shows me the plate armor sets I own. This becomes a bit of an annoyance when I'm going through different vendors deciding what to buy next. Otherwise you buy it, go to use it, get told you already have it, then you need to sell it back.

so basically it's useless then? Because I've purchased numerous ensembles and had to return them because Blizzard can't seem to fucking figure out how the cunting fuck to make some ensemble sets say "already known" and be redded out so you don't buy them. that's right, I said some. Because they have figured out how to do some of them, but not fucking all of them. Just on my hunter now, at Pythagorus and he has 4 mail items on the 2nd page - 2 of them are redded out, 2 not. Yet I have all 4, because when I buy the two that are not "already known" guess what message I get when I try to use them
