Visions of Azeroth

Strange visions are calling to the heroes of Azeroth. Players who have reached level 70 and have completed the final chapter of the Dragonflight questline will be called to take their next steps into the story leading into The War Within with the first part of the "Visions of Azeroth" questline.

Take to the Skies with Skyriding

Dragonriding is here to stay and available for many flying mounts in all flyable areas. Players can also toggle between Skyriding (previously known as dynamic flight) or the flying style introduced originally in The Burning Crusade (TBC) which we’re calling Steady Flight. Learn more about Skyriding in our previously published article.

Confront the memories of Azeroth during the new pre-expansion event and collect Residual Memories to purchase new items to add to your Warband collection.

When: July 30 – August 26
Where: Dalaran (hub), Dragonblight, Dustwallow Marsh, and Searing Gorge
Currency: Residual Memories – Half forgotten memories can be glimpsed in the light playing across this iridescent powder.

I wonder will steady flight gain that speed increase in the pre patch or at expansion time. I don’t have any issues with skyriding, but the faster flying was cool on the beta, until I lost access to some constant thread error. Hopefully that error won’t make it’s way into the full game, because I have zero ideas how to fix it.

When did Blizzard say they're increasing "regular flying" (now "steady flight") speed?

So it's official. DF will have patch every other month from Day 1 to last. Imagine if Ion would said this is goal, people wouldn't stop laughing even after first few patches.

Btw, expect TON of bugs on release day. Warbands sounds like huge deal from engineering pov.

On the beta, the speed of Expert flight was increased from 150% to 220%, and Master flight was increased from 310% to 420%. Ground mounts are also a single rank now, you have access to 100% speed as soon as you can mount.

Since these are baseline changes to the mounted buffs, they'll probably apply with the pre-patch.

Event and rewards look really lackluster

"global" Dragonriding SUCKS! It should be "per mount", not "global". Dragonriding is only good when you need to travel from A to B, but it sucks during gathering and explorartion when you need something more slow and precise or just hang in the air for some time.

You can turn it off with a simple cast and not all mounts are dragonriding
