Aesthetically it looks cheap and plasticky, not like an actual anime (modern anime ofcourse looks cheap and plasticky compared to classic anime but still).

Tastes differ. But I am sure you are aware that Castlevania has glowing reception.
Aesthetics aside, I found the show to be dreadful. The pacing slows down to a bog and there is a lot of standing around and expositing. Unlikeable main characters. Demonization of Christianity. Lots of cursing and other degeneracy. Bland and unmemorable soundtrack.
Not seeing a quiver or any arrows anywhere on her. Maybe she ran out.
Also, there’s a glint when she’s coming down, so more than likely there are sharp pointy metal bits for stabbings and slashings on the edges.
Not really a good idea to use a bow as a melee weapon, but we are talking about a sci-fi fantasy game with spaceships, lasers, demon invaders, Lovecraftian old gods, and fire cats. I’d say a little suspension of disbelief about a bow being used as a melee weapon can be afforded.

Not really a good idea to use a bow as a blunt instrument, but we are talking about a sci-fi fantasy game with spaceships, lasers, demon invaders, Lovecraftian old gods, and fire cats. I’d say a little suspension of disbelief about a bow being used as a melee weapon can be afforded.
It's almost like people forgot the masterful Peter Jackson had Legolas do this during Helms Deep. Like, this fandom, I swear, cannot be honest actors. The premiere fantasy movie that defined fantasy fiction for 30 years is now cheap anime trash apparently cause the elf archer started boxing people with their bow.
