Stream World of Warcraft on Discord to earn a Parrlok Battle Pet

I don't like to share my screen to strangers but I want the pet.

Not available on Mac even though their FAQ states it is. They are straight up lying in the FAQ.

Btw gift a sub for whatever it was, some mount, or what? has that started? was it gift 1 sub or two? isn't two overkill?

I mean doesnt say it has to be full of people, could probably start your own discord server launch the game do the thing then delete the server once your done lol doesnt say anything about "Need XXX amount of watched time and/or viewers"

You need another person in voice/video channel when you stream or it doesn't count.

If you don't want to stream with a stranger, or don't have a friend you can stream to, just sign up for discord with another email and stream to yourself. You can create your own private discord channel and invite your alt account to watch.

Wow that's the most transparency desperation to boost streaming numbers yet

It's 15 minutes, so not long at all and anyone really concerned could make a throwaway level 1 alt for it so there is no guild chat or other stuff they don't want shown . I did it on the ATT server in General. It looks like if someone is in the section it counts even if they aren't watching

Would be nice if they’d allow alternative methods of getting pets like these. The fact people immediately thought of just streaming to yourself on an alt account should show that this is a really weird promotion.

Just "watch" the stream yourself with another account off your phone.

this is the gayest shit I've ever seen

Not really a big deal, honestly. I just logged in, picked a server with a few people chatting, said I needed to let the game sit open for 15 minutes for a promotion, everyone said cool, that's it.

Didn't work on Linux. I don't mind sharing, but it would be nice if it worked.

So... I got a guildie to "watch" my stream... got the redemption code, used it, said successful... but no pet.

Where's my pet?! :<

You can create a single discord server for you and share your screen there. At least I didn't read that you had to share your screen on a specific server.

Literally this, I launched in my own discord 0 viewers and left it on char select screen and then went and made breakfast, came back and was done got the code and input it into bnet.

i'm sure it will come to tradepost eventually, n i'll refuse to spend anything on it, since some items cost huge amounts... I only get small things n are saving up for something I don't want to pass...
