I haven't been really keeping up with too much of the story in TWW. Does this mean Anduin has rectified his issues with himself and his connection to the Holy Light?
death is a complete joke in this game/universe, what is the point of dying? what's the point of sacrifice lmao.
look I want khadgar to live and it sadden me the first time but what was the point of him sacrificing himself for the greater good and disintegrating if we can just bring the old man back with a simple light resurrection spell.

Pretty sure it only worked because he had just died and was more or less intact. That kind of resurrection was always been a part of the lore.
I don't think that would have worked for Varian, for example.

I LOVED varian's sacrifice, when he had to deal with the Reaver and saved Genn and his soldiers. and thank god his sac was honoured without a cheap resurrect "bc we need him" excuse like come on. damn I miss legion now.

Fel is the one power in the setting that can permanently destroy even souls. Varian and Gul'dan are pretty much the most dead-dead characters. The Void while powerful is not noted to destroy souls, so even if Khadgar was killed physically, his spirit could still interact with the living world, like Medivh.
I always knew that Khadgar had not met his end yet... I mean, Medivh the Guardian was literally decapitated and yet his spirit was still interacting with mortals and Khadgar is supposed to be the new Guardian.
I haven't played the newest chapter in-game (and now it's down/disabled), but I'm curious to see what leads us to that point of the cutscene.
Also, I feel past expansions had slightly longer "main game" chapters, like they strung us along for more weeks. Heck, I remember in SL it was like 6+ weeks of chapters that were renown locked IIRC. I guess it's a better change to not do that this time.
Obviously this chick will be back.
I'm really glad Khadgar was resurrected and Anduin recovered his confidence (at least enough to resurrect him). I kind of hoped he would do some more light magic during the fight, like shielding them from an attack from her or something.
I assumed Khadghar didn't die, otherwise Xala'tath would as well as both were in that bubble thingy
Cinematic would have been better if he had just came back n not just die for no reason right afterwards...but he had to cuz they want to push that shitty character Anduin...boohoo he got the light, like a gazillion other light wielders, who the F cares, just kill off Anduin please, he is just annoying

In essence yes. He's in the process of finding himself and reconnected with the light during the campaign storyline resulting in this cutscene where he feels enough confidence in himself to use the light without assistance again.

I HATED Varians sacrifice, if not for sylvannas and her pulling back the horde forces Varian would still be alive today. Never forgive, never forget.

if she woulnd pull back forces varian and genn and thrall and her and countless others on both horde and alliance would die there, it was a damn trap...
