Forcing ppl to play multiple characters to level Brann is the shittiest thing they could do

Unnecessary time gating strikes again. Can't let the casuals/solo players have fun too quickly or they might choose to do something else

It's weird. I have no issue doing this daily myself, but isn't this exactly the thing the people that Delves were designed for complained about en masse in BFA in SL?
"If I don't log in daily I'm behind". I remember this vividly. Very stupid decision, because that's basically it. If you miss a day, you miss Brann XP and are behind forever.

I think they mentioned it somewhere that our buddys change each season. Very likely we will start at level 1 with whoever this will be in season 2.

Nah. Delves are absolutely useless and unfun content.

Everything so often when things are looking good, Blizzard just has to find a way screw things up. It is like, a waiter bringing you a perfect martini and saying, "oh wait, let me dip my nuts in it real quick."

who the hell is making these sorts of decisions at Blizzard? they either need to be yeeted or get a major attitude change. Jesus fucking Christ.

Blizzard's natural instincts kicking in again. They just can't help themselves.

I don't have an issue with gating it, I don't want to feel like I have to grind him to 60 ASAP and make myself utterly sick of delves. But I hope this will be 4 per day per account and not per character, that would be a massive advantage for those people playing armies of alts.

the issue isnt with gating in of itself,the issue is with the method they are using,bountiful delves are limited,so if you miss even ONE day,you are forever behind in that season,its worse than AP in legion

This is kind of dumb in principle but not something I care about really. I pretty much ignore him as much as I can anyway.

This is... bizarre.

Aren't Delves supposed to be casual content not relevant to any serious players? So who cares if you can grind your Brann to 60? Why not let people do that if they want to? Isn't that the POINT of making this casual and not serious-endgame-relevant?

Blue post tomorrow:

"We understand the heated discussion surrounding Brann's ability to level; however we feel {insert reason alluding to the sense of pride of accomplishment players receive from leveling Brann}. That said, we've decided to revert this change anyway. Happy?"

Some level of timegating was expected in my opinion but a daily cap system is just horrible and anti-casual. Which is who the whole system appears to be intended for.
