Those aren't mutually exclusive criticisms. The trading post is lazy most of the time. Selling trading post items is greedy. Both are true.

Most of my guild didn't play when this was the monthly reward, and while I agree it's greedy to sell it, myself and most of my guild are just happy we get to have it if we want it. Better than not having it show up ever again and hating ourselves because we took a break because we were done with content.

Lolwut. Maybe in 2015. The majority of people left here are just the hardcore who love everything blizzard gives them. As evidenced by anytime someone complains, a downpour of people flaming them with the generic “WhY do yOu CaRe” replies.

This place became the epitome of toxic positivity a long time ago. And I say that as someone who once saw it as the reverse where Blizzard were putting out greatness constantly yet people complained over the smallest things. That was back during like Cata though.

Didn't Blizzard say that Trading Post items would eventually rotate back and show up again? That they weren't once and done FOMO items

It would of been a heck of a lot nicer if Blizzard had offered up this mount as a extra reward in this months Trading Post....like maybe a side questing or something to with candy buckets..but anything but trying to make a buck off it since it was given away basically for free in last years Trading post...

Toxic positivity? Brother, go to the FFXIV forum and complain about anything if you want to see toxic positivity. The lack of negativity around here is because the game hasn't been in a state of perpetual dogshit for the last few expansions so the general vibe has moved from, "how many synonyms for incompetent can I use to describe the dev team," to less meaningful (yet still poignant) conversations about how mad we are that Xal'atath's toes aren't in every promotional shot for new content.

The WoW subreddit is the same way. Any time you criticize Daddy Blizzard, for ANYTHING, you immediately get labeled a "whiny hater" and told to leave.

Really wish people could understand that pointing at a problem and asking for it to be fixed is not "hate".
