    In fact, the pets will eventually make their way over to Retail, but they'll most likely be in the Trading Post. (at least, the Zodiac pet will, following the Rabbit and Dragon pets)

    Which feels a bit stinky if I'm being honest.

    WTF does "Classic Progression" even mean?
    Never seen them using such words for Cata na future patches.

    They've used it for a while now.

    Its to differeniate from the Classic Era realms basically.

    They're used "Classic Progression" for a while to mean TBC, then Wrath, and now Cataclysm.

    Era/HC/SoD/SoM have their own names since beginning.
    Not sure for the specific reason. Could be in case they decide to ever allow TBC/WotLK/Cata progression servers to run concurrently or restart the cycle. Cata Classic is likely to run its course in the next 12 months. So that could be a reason as well.

    What about the ones they were giving on the previous 12 month subscription? Are this not obtainable anymore? Or maybe they will just go to the in-game shop

    Best assumption (because the 6 month mounts have been done this way) is available in limited release on the trading post and maybe eventually the cash shop.

    6 month price is same as 12 month price......this is 100% for retention and nothing else.

    Oh no! Imagine a business wanting to ensure the longevity of their income and doing so by giving the customer something in addition to what they're paying for, it's the end of the world as we know it!

    So if I am already on a 12 month plan, do I still get this or do I have to purchase it again and I get overlapping credit?

    You don't have to do anything if you're already set to this plan, it will arrive automatically at some point.

    The cat heat is way too big for my tastes. Not exactly a 'pull' for me to get a 12 month sub.
