I do hope they do a better job of this than WC3:Reforged.

I am kind of surprised they even went there. WC2 is cool and all but the gameplay doesn't hold up like SC in my opinion.

I am guessing this is exactly why they bothered with RF 2.0. A good faith effort so they can move on to other remasters. Lets just hope its actually an impressive reboot.

The comment is more meant in a way of saying "maybe cross this bridge once you repaired the one you've burned before.".

Warcraft 2: Refunded. Another fiasco? Blizzard needs to fix WC3 first then they can go to previous titles.

Literally nobody should trust a WC2 remaster until WC3:R has been completely reworked to deliver on every promise made at announcement.

Well WC3 Reforged is also getting a 2.0 patch so….

Woudl be cool to give war2 and war3 the same treatment age of mythology got in their remaster/retold, i doubt blizzard will pull this off, it will be reforged all over again

When Vicarious Visions (who did the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 and Diablo II: Resurrected remasters) merged with blizzard in 2022, I was hoping they actually get good remasters. If the ex Vicarious Visions division is behind this, it may actually be good :copium:

It was VERY WELL done. Received a lot of praise.

SC1 Remaster or whatever it was called was praised as well, from what I remember.

Wait until next Wednesday and see what happens. Lets not doom and gloom because "RAWR WARCRAFT 3 REFORGED WAS BAD"

Please explain how this is a quick cash grab? I'm genuinely curious. The amount of resources required to remaster the game is undoubtedly in the millions of dollars. And based off the ales of WC3 Reforged, which IIRC, was a loss. How would this be anything else also?

It's also a lot harder to screw up Warcraft 2 than 3 I'd say, 2 did not age well in terms of appearance which was one of the major complaints about WC3R. WC2 also didn't have cutscenes as far as I remember, just basic narration with text.
