Patch 11.1 PTR - New Warband Campsites

Lost Ark has this feature i think...from what i remember.
Pretty cool.

There is even some pay to win ones...but lets not give Blizzard any fun ideas (>_<)

Yeees. This is what I wanted from campsites, you get to set up in places you've cleared out and occupied. Gonna get that Cultists' Quay.

Making extra camps is neat, characters outside of the "main" Warband felt really off on the selection screen.

This is neat wish we had a pic of 20 chars on the screen, did I read that right? Or 20 groups of 4?

I hope they can churn these out rather fast. I was in stormsong valley earlier and it looked great as a background.

20 people on one screen would feel a bit crowded I think, but 5-6 could work.

I also like your idea for more groups, not just the main one. I hope they will do that, eventually.

It's up to 20 groups of 4.

Hopefully they end up making more Warband backgrounds. Having one at the Maelstrom, for example, would be dope.

The one with the cauldron could easily hold 10 chars. I'd like that. Even our current one could easily show 6 chars. Which feels ok for dividing my characters into "mains" and alts of different preference..also I'd have a group of just alts who never died so far.

UhHhHh... AkcHuALLy, many people were asking for more Warband backgrounds since it's announcement. Thanks for sharing that more campsite locations is something you don't care about, though.

Cool idea, I'm hoping they throw out many more in the future -- In particular as a reward for doing challenges in game.

Sure do hope the best looking ones aren't locked behind the store...

Would be sick if we could use our own screenshots somehow?

There are people on here that love to chime in on threads about topics / features they AREN'T interested in while trying to supplant said item/topic with whatever it is they ARE interested in.

This is a relatively small flavor feature to add to the game to give players a little more personal customization, whatever to their login screen. I really don't think this had a big impact on ANY major feature that might or might not be implemented in the future.

Am I the only one that doesn't care for the campsites? I like seeing a huge pic of my character's trasmog before I log in.

This is a pretty good thing, i've been asking for character-select customization since at least MOP..

Unfortunately, the route of which Blizzard have been going, we're most likely looking at some ptw in the future for this too
