Pet Grooming Station in Orgrimmar

Pet Grooming Station in Stormwind

Dress this companion up in a variety of adorable costumes by visiting a Pet Grooming Station near the Trading Post to change up the look!

How it Works

Get Tender Every Month

At the beginning of each month, players with an active account in good standing will receive 500 Trader’s Tender automatically every month from a chest called the Collector’s Cache. If you don’t have active game time on your account or aren’t a subscriber at the start of a new month, don’t worry. Your Tender will be awarded on the first day of the month when you do have game time or an active subscription. This will be the same amount for everyone, regardless of how you pay for your game time.

The Traveler's Log

Complete monthly activities listed in the new Traveler’s Log. Each month features a rotating, themed set of activities. These activities provide the opportunity to earn up to 500 additional Trader’s Tender. There’s only a set amount of Tender you can earn each month through completing activities, so you won’t need to complete all the ones in the log each month. You’ll be able to pick and choose from a variety of fun in-game activities to easily earn Tender. Players can choose to earn by continuing to play the game as they already do, such as completing quests, competing in battlegrounds, participating in holiday activities, and even running Mythic+ dungeons. But you can also choose to take part in activities uniquely designed for the month.

Freeze an Item

Before the month comes to an end, if you haven’t purchased that one “must-have” item yet, don’t worry. You can “freeze” an item so you can purchase it later. When you freeze an item, it will stay available month over month until it is purchased or replaced.

If this month’s offerings didn’t have the items you wanted, you can hang on to your Trader’s Tender to spend later. It won’t go anywhere, and unspent Tender will continue to accumulate each month.

I have very much heard of the expression, but again, I just don't understand how something completely optional and also only cosmetic (so with no player power) can even be a "straw" to you. You can simply ignore the Trading Post if you dislike what's offered.

You're welcome to not like the items on the Trading Post, that's fine, but it is optional content you can simply ignore and move on with your gaming session. It has no benefit, no power level etc. It's purely cosmetic.
You could also simply ignore them and move on, but you cant.

Anyway: yup another shit month lol.

I like this months stuff. Growing up with the TMNT cartoon and now enjoying WoW, this is a fun little cosmetic thing to have.
On top of that, the nunchuck will look nice for Monks. Just wish they gave them special animations when holding them. Maybe give them an on use effect to do a little flourish with them or something.
I also enjoy the fox and raccoon outfit, and as someone else put, will be fun/funny to use on a Vulpera.
    Overall, not a bad month.

? Not sure why you're comparing a discussion on a forum to a cosmetic trading post in a game.

That this is even a "straw" for you says more about you than the game friend.

Okay, now that it’s live, I do have to express that I am a little upset that the nunchuk MH and OH are purchased separately, instead of a combo like daggers and other 1H weapons.

The main hand is classified as "one hand" so for dual wielders, you should only need to buy that one.

The offhand classed one is so casters can use too.

Had this discussion with a guildie earlier, too, and I still think it’s silly. They didn’t do that with the swords, or the sai, or other tmogs.
I just don’t see why it couldn’t have been classified as a cosmetic, or cosmetic bundle, that’s available to all specs/classes. To me, it’s the equivalent along the lines if they had made those staves for casters, and put a separate one in for agi/Str users.

It's just a limitation of the game and how item slots are classified. Staves are staves regardless of stats. Swords/sais/etc are classified as weapons so they are already restricted from being used on a caster offhand slot. "Off hands" for casters are specifically an item that classes that cannot use a second weapon can put in their offhand. The game sorts them differently and they have unique restrictions, so in that regard it makes sense that it wouldn't allow a weapon transmog (in this case the "one hand" weapon nunchuk) for that slot. Maybe it's dumb how they've done it, but we're two decades into Blizzard's weapon design, so I'm not sure I really get why it's a big deal now.

I mean, sure they could have just bundled all the appearances it in a single item, but that's not usuallly how they do it. And since they aren't in the habit of bundling transmogs for multiple slots, I kinda think how they did it is a positive, since it means you only need to buy one of them if you're a duel wield melee (where it is effectively a combo item) and you only need to buy the second one if you intend to use it on a caster's offhand.

Ah, you again with the "just leave the bigots alone!" take. It costs you $0.00 not to carry the water for bigots yet you're still out here pretending like ignoring unsolicited bigotry is somehow the morally high road.

Well, sorta are for having a reaction like that over optional items, and things that was already a thing in the game before...

So..what am I taking away from the may trading post?

People flame each other over the looks of (debatably) free stuff to the degree that infractions and bans are handed out galore. I wonder when was the last time that I saw so many of them within just 50 posts in a thread.

Yup...truth be told, this is why I came back to this forum....pure entertainment.

IMHO the 2h on the trading post goes well with several DK sets - but then again, the DK already has similar (and maybe even nicer) artifact skins. But whatever - with the prices lowered in the last couple of months and me having saved up 6k tenders so far, I will indulge in some of this "edgy" stuff...and also get the Nunchucks
