Experience this new storyline with branching viewpoints based on your character’s faction as you brave the journey ahead.

Overcharged Delves

Engage with Titan enemies, more traps, and unlock traits in a new trait tree specific to Overcharged Delves. Selecting the right traits can turn the tides of traps by making them more beneficial rather than a detriment to your progress.

New UI Options: Combat Assistant and Single-Button Assistant

We’re introducing two additional options in the User Interface (UI) to help you learn a new class or relearn an alternate character. These new options are also a great way to provide additional accessibility to players who may need a little extra help.

Assisted Highlight: When enabled, Assisted Highlight will highlight the recommended next ability based on resources and the situation your character is in. Configured as an additional option to assist with damage rotation no matter which specialization you’re using, this new option is designed to help new players, players who are trying out a new specialization, or those looking for additional guidance on the abilities they should use.

Single-Button Assistant: For those who want or need a little extra help, there is also the new Single-Button Assistant. This is a single button that can be used to cast the next recommended damage dealing ability in the sequence. This assistant is designed to aid those who are looking for additional help, or for those who want to experience the story or game on a more casual basis. There is a small additional global cooldown added between abilities when using this feature. The feature will also detect when an Area of Effect (AoE) spell or multi-target ability should be used when you’re out in the world.

Can’t wait for the absolute s**t show that will happen if they keep designing bosses the way they do after breaking addons and WAs.

I think heroic can be pretty much the same as now, the only thing I need for Undermine is to highlight a couple specific debuffs. Mythic will be a challenge to design though, without making it either too easy or too obnoxious.

You are aware pretty much all bosses are doable without addons and WAs, right?
Vast majority of people won't feel the impact.
World first raids just become longer as they need gear in place of the surgical precision.

Yeah, heroic maybe. I’m just thinking of bosses like Neltharion and 4 debuffs with very specific spots for the AoE, as well as the void zones. Gally can be doable, but I think there’s specific timings for tanks to adhere to. Mugz with the left/right gaol walls.
Just seems like they will need to make very early telegraph abilities with few, to no, overlaps for some bosses.
Will definitely have to wait and see, but I just don’t know how well it will go with encounter design.

Please tell me the rogue recolor is black and not some sort of dark blue. It's making me nervous that they choose a dim lighting to show it off.

Also do we know if we get a heroic lootbox during turbulent timeways? Still missing a bit of transmog, but im too lazy to keep raiding.

Per the model viewer, looks like it's black with a purplish outline.

This'll be the third time it's returning and the last two times it rewarded Heroic loot, so I'd surmise this time'll be no different. We already have Dinars from earlier in the patch, it'd be strange if it was only rewarding Champ track gear.

If they truly remove WAs and addons, we lose more than just timers. We lose in game management of raid CD timers for defensives and offensives thru raid plan. We lose damage meters. We lose WCL. We lose ElvUI (personally don’t use it). We lose raidbots being able to sim our characters and knowing the best upgrades to go for. We lose fun and frivolous things like dressing room addons, or weird changes to UI camera stuff like the novelty camera spin when your monk uses SCK, or WDP.
So yes, while I mentioned bosses and raids, there are more things that people enjoy and bring QoL to the game that will go away.
    History has gone:
    Blizzard makes a game.
Players create tools that make the game easier and more intuitive/fun/random.
Blizzard makes the game to account for those.
Players make them more in depth to go with Blizzard changing difficulty.
    Rinse/repeat for years.
We now have a game that is highly reliant on addons & WAs. I won’t say they’re required outside of a handful of fights, but that doesn’t change Blizzard designed a game around those things, and now want to take them away. There is going to have to be some changes for encounter design to accommodate those now, too.

    How would we lose raidbots?
Without addons we'd just have to take the data from armory api.
They'd have to nuke armory if they wanted to remove that.
Then you could just input the data manually which is barely an inconvenience.

And they already said they will not be nuking addons as a whole.

Forgive me for not having confidence in the corporation that presented a jukebox as a major content patch and covenants and botched hero talents as major expansion features. Forgive me for thinking they'll do far worse than basement dwellers with addon creation.

    Holy misinformation batman.

Theyre not removing WAs or Addons. They have vaguely floated the possibility of disabling the in-combat events available to Addons, but only after they've developed their own versions of DBM and Damage meters etc. That's the only thing they've talked about removing. The only things that will be impacted are things that rely on real time combat information, so damage meters, DBM, WAs for raid/class mechanics etc.

If you want that you're better off subbing 2 months before the next major patch. Current trend seems to be from one gate to another.

They just cant make DH sets lol xD
And its sooooo easy and simple to make DH sets.

Some kilts/pants, tattered robes/tunic, simplistic shoulders....

And then you just move from 1 theme to another... Yet they decide to go for some disgusting "horns", "spikes"... w/e....

Remember the NE DH from vanilla cover? WTB SUCH SETS!

Also, on topis: sup with "increased loot" in old content? Any info on that?
