What do you mean the audio logs were hidden behind a secret? Where? In-game? In the game files?

It was an event for the Secret finding discord. It was also on reddit. If we solved the riddle we would get the third video.

In the end it was solved in less than 8 hours

What do you mean it was an event though? Like did a Blizz GM message the SF Discord with a clue and say that if it was solved they'd get a reward? Just seems weird and out of nowhere.
