    So about the plots.

Is there an infinite amount of neighborhoods so you can have that one plot you wanted, or is it a very limited amount of neighborhoods and you gotta be among the first to log in and claim that plot before anyone else?

Like for example in this picture here, Plot 12. If you want this Plot 12, can you go from neighborhood to neighborhood until you find one where it's not taken? Or can you jump neighborhoods a limited amount of times and never get it? Or is it really all about logging in first like some fucking goldrush?

Not even going to dream about being in a guild neighborhood where everyone else already took the best plots.

Also can you sell that plot by inviting someone in the group, getting the gold, and then moving the house and freeing that plot to be taken by your buyer? I know you can't sell character names because they're tied to your account for 6 months after you deleted that character.

From what I understand is that you can have whatever plot you want, maybe just not ON the same map as your friends or something but in some version or another of that instance. So lets say for instance you want plot #12 then you can just have it. However, the only caveat I can see is if people put a value instances. Like for instance, hehe , if you want to have plot #12 on map 1 then yes, you'll likely have to be first in line to get it. However I don't really see instance gatekeeping as being a thing. Since there are literally millions of players and a very few number of plots. So instancing will be whatever.

However I wouldn't put anything past people. "Oooh I got my plot on map #1 you guys are basically all clones!" Or some other nonsense.

On a totally seperate note. I was looking at the housing maps and an idea occurred to me. What if... dun dun dun!, What if exiles reach connected somehow to the player housing areas? I feel like the literal first thing I thought of when looking at those maps, esp the alliance one is exiles reach. You could use Exiles Reach as sort of a training grounds, after you finish leveling to 10 or whatever, you can go back there and have training runs/scenarios to sharpen your skills, etc. They could make it so that you can scale it to be tougher and tougher. Different Bosses both inside and outside. Dungeon/Raid mock-ups. Mythic Plus training, PvP boot camp. The works. I think it might be a cool idea.

New public subdivisions (current official term for the different neighborhood 'layers') are generated as needed. You can also create your own private subdivision with a charter (requires signatures) or use your guild's subdivision. You can freely visit other public subdivisions, and private/guild subdivisions on invitation.

For public subdivisions, the one thing you'd potentially have to rush to get is a subdivision with a randomly generated name you like, if you care about that. The names have three randomized sections, like "Bright Sun Haven" or "Rock Crag Isle." There's also the matter of who you wind up with as neighbors, I suppose.

For a private/guild subdivision, you'll have to work out who gets which lots on your own.

You could also presumably create your own personal guild subdivision, but then you wouldn't have neighbors and that would probably hamper your ability to complete endeavors.

The two Neighborhoods are islands off the coasts of Orgrimmar and Stormwind: Razorwind Shores and Founder's Point. They have biomes that mirror Durotar / Echo Isles / Azshara and Elwynn / Westfall / Duskwood.

Looks great so far, looking forward to play with housing!

Doubt about guild neighborhoods. If you get out of a guild and you were in the guild neighborhood what happens with your house?

It get stored as a sort of item and you can just plop your house down in another neighbourhood once you buy a plot there

Although I do not play WoW anymore I really love this housing system... but.... no snow biome? Like that's the one season state, where if I was still playing WoW I would have loved to have moved in on.. Maybe they'll add it later but as a Dwarf, me wants me snow zone home :P

Can you also add icons to the world map of the neighborhood to show where the decor vendors etc.. are?

Thank you for the wonderful resource. I referred to it when I was on the Test PTR (had an amazing time there, btw!). Looks like you've been very busy adding to the hub. It's even more awesome now. Much appreciated, thanks for all you dedication.

Really hope we get more iron themed items and spikes and bones. We had the iron revolution with the Orc building style with Garrosh but for some reason it feels we are back in the Thrall age again with rocks and stones and i am fine that some like that style more but give us the ability for the iron style aswell.

Why ? From what I understood plots are not limited, everyone can have the one he desires.

How is that going to work?

First you select the plot, then the system browses trough all the neighbourdhoods until the finding of one where the plot is vacant, then it just assigns you there. And if there is no neighbourdhood where the plot is vacant, it creates a new one.

So if you want a specific plot you are guaranteed to get it? How do you know this? I must have missed that information

But this is not working if you are in a guild/private neighbourdhood. It only possible on server neighbourdhood...
