    Count the different kinds of lumber you have to collect for housing. Those live in your bags, they're not tokenized.

    That's not a currency it's a resource and you don't have to carry them at all in your bags if you use them? Why would you go collect lumber just to hold onto it forever like you are suggesting? That's like complaining that blizz released too many new herbs this new expansion

    @Soulsinger
    I’m just gonna split the difference here and say you’re both correct.

    What Soulsinger wrote is correct in that it is something that takes up bag space. They also have a point that if you go out and farm multiple types at once after figuring out the mats you need (like I sometimes do), then that can eat up bag space. Sometimes you just don’t want to farm one type, return to town to craft or place an order, and then go back out.
    Also, sometimes things just happen. Maybe you spend some time farming the lumber while sitting in queue for something, such as a BG or a m+ key. Maybe you’re killing some time waiting for raid to start. Maybe something just happens.

    As for what Ereb wrote, that is also true. If you use your currency as you get it, it will not take up bag space for long. I’d even go further and say if something like what I previously wrote does happen, there’s always the warbound bank that they can be thrown in.

    On one hand, it’s not a big deal, on the other, why the hell does it even exist!? Lmao. There was no reason to add a new farmable item in game for housing decor that has you going thru every xpac all over again.
