Restorations of Hardcore Characters Lost to DDoS on January 4

Yesterday, the Classic Hardcore realm Doomhowl in North America was impacted by a malicious DDoS attack, resulting in the deaths of some player-characters.

Today, we’ve restored the dead player-characters who were lost during the DDoS timeframe and remained on the Doomhowl realm.

That work is now complete and players who fit the above criteria should be able to log back into their character on the Hardcore realm.

    Restoring hardcore characters doesn't sound very hardcore.

    btw i dont excuse ddosers but i can understand why people could be doing it..

    blizzard doesnt listen to players, dont fix classic bugs/pvpbalance (ive reported a bunch and they still not fixed after months) for months/years and on top they release new xpac just after 18 months of tww with 1.5 month off season...

    not to mention almost non existant human support

    well no1 knows the real reason why they get ddosed so we can assume anything, what im saying is there are plenty of reasons to hate the company for so no surprise its happening

    DDoSers getting their own way is bad for Hardcore, but restoring dead characters is bad for Hardcore as well.
