Dragonflight Legacy Loot Enabled in the Midnight Pre-Patch
With the second Midnight pre-patch now live, legacy loot has been enabled for Dragonflight content, making it much easier to farm transmog from dungeon and raids across the Dragon Isles.

In addition to transmog runs becoming more rewarding, two Ottuk mounts are now significantly easier to obtain thanks to the increased number of drops from bosses!

Note: Rare items such as the Reins of the Quantum Courser, Cracked Titan Gem, Fyr'alath the Dreamrender and Drakewatcher Manuscripts remain unaffected by legacy loot, as they are on the personal loot table rather than the group loot table.

I never managed to get either of these mounts in DF, so will be adding it to the list of things to do

According to the post it is.
“ With the second Midnight pre-patch now live, legacy loot has been enabled for Dragonflight content…” right under the bold part

Did you read the article? Or the first sentence, it says right there it’s live.

And yes it’s live, you can farm raid bosses and get legacy drops aswell

Hey look, it's that drop off Terros that made Blizz changed how instance desertion worked... being the geniuses that they are putting the drop off the FIRST boss of the wing [where people were leaving after] instead of, you know, on the last boss...

So now if you join LFR in progress, missing a boss or two, rejoining it to join yet another group in progress you're blackmailed to finish it with no gain or accept the 30 minute debuff...

So ... if legacy is on, can you now do unsoloable bosses in raids?

I think there was one towards the end of the first DF raid. Second raid was soloable, but the last boss can take some effort to do right or it resets itself. The last raid I dont know anything about.

As you might see, I didnt really raid much at all during dragonflight and skipped the nearly entire expansion. Lot of stuff left to collect, but there are some problems there. Anyone know if those are fixed now?

The second to last boss of Vault of the Incarnates, Broodkeeper Diurna is unsoloable (unless you are a pet class and can keep the adds away from her and/or burst down the adds before they get stacks)

In Aberrus (the second raid), a midway boss named Rashok will just 1 shot you about a minute into the fight with his tank buster ability, so might need to wait for lvl 90 to (easily) solo him (it seems the stat squish might be responsible for this?)

I tried Amirdrassil and was able to get through most of it on heroic, but the fights were a bit of a chug at 141 ilvl, and I've seen people say Fyrakk might be an issue on Mythic, so not 100% sure

I would like to add to that... Razsageth is probably difficult to solo with the splitting up of the raid. I would imagine that it might be difficult for a non healer class to solo Fyrakk as well, unless you can burst him down fast enough so adds aren't required to heal the tree

No, you need to wait a few months.

Broodkeeper Diurna is really only doable if you are a pet class, and it takes much, much longer than any other fight in the raid. You just make sure your pet has aggro on the boss and then park 'em in a corner of the room so you can outrange her buff on the adds. Then you just kill adds as they spawn until there aren't any eggs left

I did Raz just fine on Heroic; dunno about Mythic, but on a 153 iLvl hunter I was pushing her through the phases pretty quickly. Plenty of time to do both platforms on the first platform phase.

Did him on heroic the other day.
Just take him to the middle before you get hit with the second tank buster.

legacy just means changed loot rules, and doesn't necessarily coincide with changes to make the encounter soloable. The dog to make Kel'thuzad in Sanctum soloable has been added later f.e.

At 157 ilvl Warlock doing these on Mythic.
VoI: Broodkeeper is near impossible to solo. Got a couple attempts but a lot of issues keeping adds from boss between pet and I. Sennarth was tedious but follow basic mechanics and not too bad.

Aberrus: Most weren't too bad and were just straight up burns. Pet tank Rashok. It'll die. Then be on you. Sarkareth is rightfully difficult as there's a ton of ways to fail if you don't know what's up. Magmorax was the funniest boss cause I went in not paying attention and the entire platform save for a tiny corner was covered in lava. Still easy one shot.

Amirdrassil: On Mythic, at this point solo it's just too tedious imo. Gnarlroot took forever in P2 trying to burn branches at living through the AE. Igira just took a long time to down. Smolderon was fine, just a lot of HP and you have to watch some mechanics. Smolderon was the first huge hurdle. Many deaths but got lucky once and downed it. It was because of Smolderon I gave up and will go back in a couple weeks instead. lol.

If you want to go do DF raids right now, grab a friend or two and have at it. I'd imagine some tank classes and Hunters having a much easier time soloing it all themselves for now
