I love when the multinational corporation that has a stranglehold on the housing market joins forces with the multinational corporation that has a stranglehold on MMOs! Glad to see Blizzard is single handedly keeping the Libertarian wet dream of owning nothing and being happy alive.

How does this work? Do people working for Zillow make WoW accounts to buy plots in neighborhoods?
Do they play the game for other purposes, or did they boost characters just to buy housing plots?

My word what absolute trash this game is anymore. World of HOUSEcraft is so much more exciting than World of WARcraft! FFS Blizzard should be embarrassed but they think this tripe is actually good.

Just looked at the website. It's basically just a promotional website dressed up to look like a real estate website.
It has a handful of plots with builds by two fictional real estate agents that you can virtually tour, and profiles for those two characters.
The "buy a home" link just opens up a widget to pre-purchase Midnight and an explanation for how to login and obtain your own plot.
You can connect your account to the website, which works the same as linking Twitch or any other promotional website they've done.
There's a link at the bottom of the page to opt out of sharing or selling your data, clicking it takes you to a privacy portal and a link to disable all the tracking cookies on all the Zillow affiliate sites.
