This Month's Bonus Reward

Comfy Bel’ameth Flying Quilt
Mount
“Ainderu Summerleaf's hand-woven quilts are popular among the children of Bel'ameth.”

Complete activities to fill the bar at the top of the Traveler’s Log found in the Adventure Guide (Shift-J)***, and you'll receive this month's bonus reward—the Comfy Bel’ameth Flying Quilt mount.

How it Works

Get Tender Every Month

At the beginning of each month, players with an active account in good standing will receive 500 Trader’s Tender automatically every month from a chest called the Collector’s Cache. If you don’t have active game time on your account or aren’t a subscriber at the start of a new month, don’t worry. Your Tender will be awarded on the first day of the month when you do have game time or an active subscription. This will be the same amount for everyone, regardless of how you pay for your game time.

The Traveler's Log

Complete monthly activities listed in the new Traveler’s Log. Each month features a rotating, themed set of activities. These activities provide the opportunity to earn up to 500 additional Trader’s Tender. There’s only a set amount of Tender you can earn each month through completing activities, so you won’t need to complete all the ones in the log each month. You’ll be able to pick and choose from a variety of fun in-game activities to easily earn Tender. Players can choose to earn by continuing to play the game as they already do, such as completing quests, competing in battlegrounds, participating in holiday activities, and even running Mythic+ dungeons. But you can also choose to take part in activities uniquely designed for the month.

Freeze an Item

Before the month comes to an end, if you haven’t purchased that one “must-have” item yet, don’t worry. You can “freeze” an item so you can purchase it later. When you freeze an item, it will stay available month over month until it is purchased or replaced.

If this month’s offerings didn’t have the items you wanted, you can hang on to your Trader’s Tender to spend later. It won’t go anywhere, and unspent Tender will continue to accumulate each month.

I do appreciate the different style glaives. Also been a minute since I've seen magic carpets, too.

Well would you look at the time? It is another month of saving tenders!

There is just hardly anything they can sell that can displace items I already like the in the limited slots I have. I only have one helmet slot, one black slot, one ground mount I can be riding around in dungeons or BGs or for RP, one flying mounts, etc. I can't wear two helmets at once, ride two mounts at once, etc. If Blizzard wants me to spend, then they need to add new stuff that is not mutually exclusive with what I already have. FF14 did a good job by introducing a new slot for facewear, so now you can have a helmet AND sunglasses equipped simultaneously. And then FF14 did it again by adding the fashion accessory slot for your umbrella. Etc. That's what WoW needs to do. Add more slots, so I can add new stuff onto my character, not buy stuff that isn't going to replace what I already have.

Or introduce more cash shop tier mounts like Ash'adar.

You are not the target audience, though. It's for the people who like to collect and/or try out new outfits mounts or want their alts to not look the exact same, etc., and not someone who never changes how they look ever ever.

I like to buy some of the armor because I think they'll look good instead of a piece I currently have, or because I like it enough I want to make a new set around it, etc.

FF14 did a good job by introducing a new slot for facewear, so now you can have a helmet AND sunglasses equipped simultaneously.
And then you still run into the same problem you're complaining about present WoW: you only have one helmet slot and one face slot. You can't equip, for example, a helmet, sunglasses and a face mask.

New slots don't have over a decade of other items and mounts to compete with. For a headpiece, you have thousands of helmets that were created over the last 20 years, which amounts to a few dozen really superb, iconic designs that a new helmet is statistically unlikely to compete with.

With a brand new slot like glasses in FF14, there are only a handful of items so far, so any new item does not much to compete with and has good chance at being a design I want more than the one I currently have. I have so far flipped through three different pairs of glasses in the year and a half since facewear was introduced, and I can easily see new glasses designs being added that I might ditch my current ones for.

Good move this month with 1h glaives and flying carpets! Well done Blizz! Keep this going, please!
Also, about tht glaives, to be honest, warglaive weapon class should be removed altogether, also while we're at it, let Demon Hunters use 1h maces AND 2h staves and polearms too!

isn't that a good thing though? go a month or three without spending anything, then they drop a month where you want absolutely everything and you can afford it?

I feel that every single month, you say the same thing. Dude, What do you like?
I'm already on 0 Tenders this month. Got tons of things that I like.

Also, FF14 turned into World of Barbie Online Adventure. Have this cute little dress, add some shoes, and this dog/cat, then a nice car + a house. For real, that game turned from being Plate armor + Sword/Shield, into a girls game. Also Dawntrail expansion was super bad.

The Night elves glaives are awesome. This month I got Blood elf weapons.

I guess the "I only have one slot" statement works, if you have the perfect outfit already for every character. Perfect in a way of "I will never switch this out".

The extra slots are a good idea (though even if they introduce them you will be like "I can only wear one pair of sunglasses"). But in this line of thinking, I support Skins / Barber shop options. Like a new Bear Form. Maybe toys?

The glaives are awesome. certainly getting them. I am between the extremeist guys here - sitting at 5300...ish Tender. I do restrain myself on buying mounts....which is mostly why I still have so much Tender. Got 660 useable by one character, not the most awesome count, but of those I have around 10 set to "random favorites". That is like 650 mounts that are meh or ugly. Even more if I go by the total accountwide number of like 730.

The people who keep saying it is a save month over and over again and sit at 10 000+ Tender...not saying the Trading Post isn't for them...but also...why is that a bad thing if somebody hardly ever buys stuff? If you have a sub anyhow, you kinda get Tenders and the Progress Bar filled just by doing stuff you would do anyhow and once in a while you buy something you like. There is no need to spin it into "This is all so shit, I never spend anything". Cool - it is a kinda free feature for cosmetic stuff and apparently not for you, dude"

(When I am using "you" I don't mean literally you, the person I quoted, just as a Disclaimer)

Glaives are cool for the people who've been awaiting them.

The rest is trash, purely and simply.
How many butterfly-related and "cute and qwirky" mounts, mogs and sets do we need, really ? It's been months since we've had a set that doesn't scream "look at me, I'm cuuute~" or "uWu".

I'll buy one glaive and I'll be done. Even the flying carpets are too "wimpy" in my opinion. Could we have something like a races-related trading post items rotation every month (and not only a rotation between the different elven races like we've had for the past months please.)

Give us Tauren items, Orc items, Gilnean items, Troll items. We need more "badass" options. Not specially centered exclusively around this "style", but options. Not everyone wants to play "light-spirited dress-up", I reckon.

We literally had last november with Dark Ranger and gladiator sets, last december with winter gear, last month with scarlet crusade and clockwork sets and this month with a Tol'vir set.

    last december with winter gear,
    Categorized as "cute" imo
last month with scarlet crusade and clockwork sets
Scarlet crusade is meh, but it's opinion-based I guess. Clockwork set was an old one who came back. But hey, I'll give you that. Not really "badass" imo but hey, to each their own I guess.
and this month with a Tol'vir set.
Again, meh. There are numerous other options before giving us Tol'vir sets imo. For instance, and following the races I quoted, mogs related to the different orc or troll clans, Gilnean war gear and weapons, tauren weapons and gear, ...

You could say those are ment to be for heritage armor, but we've had many ones for Belves, Nelves, and to a lesser extent, dwarves. Why couldn't the other races have their share of the fun instead of giving us butterfly wings and full sets of armor and weapons, or toy weapons ?

Whether you think it's meh is irrelevant.
But it proves your "its been months since we've had other than cute stuff" false.

Ok, let me rephrase it then :
"It's been months since the focus of the trading post hasn't been on something else than cute stuff".
Also, frequency is part of the problem. Recurring "cute stuff" (or recycling it) every other month (to be generous) feels like it's the only thing that's given to us.

I'm not again a little fun, and the occasional cute set for the people who like it, everyone can have their spot in the sun after all. But this feels like we only get cute and whimsical stuff when we could have so much more.
