Stepping aside for the train of posts that moan about the fact that this is bought real money.

The blossom stuff seems a bit overpriced individually but overall I'm fine with this. Nothing here screams that it should be a staple housing item. I may pick up a few 50 cent gnomes.

It's up to you. But there are people with a serious problem with games. They have to waste tons of money in virtual goods to make them feel "over" the average player who doesn't. Also this is not new, ESO have this as well and now that they are owned by the same company, is clear that they will milk players in the same way.

This whole xpac was made and designed for hearthsteal. Midnight is a pale imitation of a wow expansion.

All the gucci/supreme/... crap is same story. What we are seeing here are ancient practices applied to gaming. The more people spend time online the more they will buy a flex online instead of irl. Personally i prefer games financing themself over $40k cosmetics than $40 p2w.

Damn i really wanted those cherry trees. Maybe we will get some good looking trees somewhere this expansion. All the haranir stuff isn't the vibe i am going for.

I prefer spending on video games, the least possible.

Same but that means someone else has to pay more. Rich people spending whale money on cosmetics is the best option.

Outlandish takes like these by people who's only contact with wow is to bitch about it are the boom of frequenting this forum lol.
Also ITT, people surprised a company monetized housing just like other companies.

This is so out of touch man.

The haranirs don't even have armor working properly on them yet and they have the gall to release this overpriced shit.

    Fuck blizzard and fuck microslop

Regardless of whether I agree with housing items in the in-game shop or not, I am very disappointed with Blizzard's decision to add the faction doormats. "Thematically important decor that players know and love will also not appear in the shop." I realize that doormats specifically have not been around, but the faction crests I would argue certainly fit the definition of "thematically important." Personally, I've been waiting for something with the Alliance crest that is not PvP related to be made available (and if I've missed something, please point it out). The Horde at least has the Horde Battle Emblem from UBRS. It may be a small quibble, but the more we as players are ok with them stepping over that gray line, the more they'll do it.

ITT: Bunch of adults complaining about pixel furniture costing money, and a lack of understanding of how different Dev teams handle different things.

Want to feel better? Just come to the conclusion that you won't buy some MTX, and you might buy some, but none of it will make you better in-game or IRL than anyone else, and that it's completely and utterly optional.

It’s time for a WoW credit card. 5% cash back for in game transactions and $1 off your WoW sub.

Blizzard will never have to worry when Blizzard-Adults like you have your wallet open for them to take whatever they like at will. Blizzard is your daddy.

It is a shame that the cherry tree is cash shop exclusive. And you only get ONE tree for a $25 purchase goodness gracious.

It is weird that Hearthsteel is a 1:1 transaction. $25 for 2,500 hearthsteel. Straightforward. Normally with these cash shop currencies, they try to obfuscate the monetary conversion with weird ratios.
