a lot of the patterns use elementium correct me if im wrong but isnt there already elementium on the live servers used to create thunderfury but the tool tip shows it as a rare quality item the elementium from blackwing lair is legendary has it been downgraded or completley different item

Those epic gems don't look very epic to me.

3 Prismatic gems ATM give 102 AGI, that's 42 more than non-JC's.

The new gems only give 67 agi each, that's still only 201 AGI total. About 140 more than using WoTLK's normal blue gems.

Engineers get TWO 132 of the same stat weight (like mastery and hit)

Seems like these are normal epic gems and not JC only gems

I thought spellpower is gone???? I'm confused.

EDIT: Well if you click on the item itself, the stats are still the old ones, but the tooltips when you just hover them are actually cataclysm stats (w/o spellpower).
So that got me confused a bit.

I hope they change the Loot-A-Rang to not be a trinket or at least have no cooldown. Even if one trinket slot isn't that big of a deal, I'd still rather have my normal trinket instead of the ranged loot item on instance/raid trash.

Also, what's the point of having a cooldown on it anyway?

I think I read somewhere that the ores/bars from that quest were being changed to different ones and not being shared with that. I forget the names, though. The new ore has "ingot" in its name, which I'm sure clears it up a lot.

The amount of stats are getting huge.

You know you have played for a long time when u remember gear having 20+ stats. Seeing the new gems with 66+ stats are lol

Engineering gems are better than Jewelcrafting gems. Interesting.

Elementium ore from BLackwing lair is renamed Elementium Ingot, which gets smelted into a hardened Elementium Bar.

But the Engineering gems only go in Engineering sockets.

I said it yesterday on another post...start gathering at least 30-40k just for the starter gear because that'll be their cost..

The amount of stats that are appearing on the items are getting out of hand, I think. 500 odd stamina? 300 odd strength? Some 400-ish agility?
I can't help but think that we'll be sitting on some 100k health or whatever as a tank.

Where did stuff come from? Was a new beta build released? I hope so. It was a long time ago since the last big update.

The elementium ore that is currently ingame will be renamed to hardened elementium or something, not quite sure on the name.

SP and AP will remain on some weapons, but will disappear from clothing. If I remember that correctly, at least.. Something about keeping weapons a bit more homogenized.

So 359 is the new 200...

Good to see welfare epics are out again in full force for all the trashcan casuals to feel good about themselves.

this all looks like more easy to get welfare epics. Whatever happening to increasing the importance and rarity of epics, this was one of the things that made vanilla so fantastic, that feeling of accomplishment when getting an epic in vanilla was what captured the original fan base. sigh.
