Cataclysm Beta - Build 12759

Update 09:40PM PST - Added Nemesis.
Update 09:15PM PST - The new 310% Speed Flying Mount skill costs 5000 gold to train. People who already own a 310% flying mount get it for free.
Update 08:15PM PST - Masteries and Armor Specializations are available for testing. (Cataclysm Masteries List, Armor Specialization List)
Update 08:05PM PST - The Mounts & Companion Pets are now in the spellbook with a brand new interface.
Update 08:05PM PST - The UI for Paladin's Holy Power is here.
Update 07:40PM PST - Added Guild vendor rewards.
Update 07:25PM PST - Added Tol Barad Reputation Rewards.
Update 07:10PM PST - Relics slots have stats now and are just named Relic now it seems. (Totems, Sigils, Librams, etc)
Update 07:00PM PST - Tol Barad, the new PvP/Daily Quest zone is open for testing, and people keep trying to hurt me. More on that later.


Cataclysm Beta - Build 12759
A new build is being deployed on beta realms, just like any beta build, it will be painful, a lot of stuff will break, and I have no idea if I'll be able to give you all the content on the first day.

On the upside, Thrall is getting a new model. Stay tuned for changes!


Nemesis in Hyjal looks really nice too.


Guild Vendor Rewards
The Guild Vendor is here, a lot of items are placeholders but it should give you a pretty good idea of what it will offer.

Loading screens for each continent have been updated.




Spellbook - Mounts and Companion Pets
The Mounts & Companion Pets are now in the spellbook with a brand new interface.



Tol Barad
Tol Barad is open for testing, this is a new outdoor/PvP zone with a daily quest area for the faction controlling it. More on that later.





310% Speed Flying Mount
The new 310% Speed Flying Mount skill costs 5000 gold to train. People who already own a 310% flying mount get it for free.



Relic Slots Items
All classes items in the relic slot now have stats.



Masteries and Armor Specialization
Masteries and Armor Specializations are now available for testing.



Holy Power
The interface for the new Holy Power resource is here.



Video Settings
The Video Settings menu has been expanded, looks like we'll be able to tweak more things in Cataclysm.



Creature Damage Output Changes

    Bolvar needs more fiber in his diet if he's straining that much while on the throne.

    They are all dead and the loading screens seems to show the current leaders of the continents. Thats the reason we will have Bolvar on Northrend loading screen istead of Arthas and Maiev+Akama instead of Illidan+Kael.

    The Horde guild mount is actually a Thunder Lizard. I do not thing the mounts are in the game yet, but I could be wrong.


    As for all the people complaining that Thrall does not have his Doomhammer, there is a picture (says it is from a magazine cover) on wowwiki.com's Thrall page that shows him in his new outfit holding the Doomhammer over his head.

    Also, I think the Goblin / Worgen race leaders on the loading screen might be place holders.

    I'm disappointed with the loading screens. All the races are the same as the ones on their panoramic wallpaper and the goblin and worgen ones are the same as their cata preview wallpapers. I've already been looking at those guys everyday since it's my current wallpaper.

    The Worgen and Goblin ones are probably just placeholders. They are showing the faction leaders now on the loading screens, which means those will be switched with Greymane and Gallywix later on.

    @ boub, i'm not sure if you saw it on one of your characters but when you mouse-over your hit or expertise it will now show % of how much hit/ expertise you need against lvl 80-81-82-83-84/bosses mobs. i'll include 2 screenshots of my paladin showing it.

    Sucks that they made the 310% riding cost 5000 again. Sucks even worse that people who already have the mounts get it for free. So, basically, something that was part of Artisan Riding is now now, but those who were using it already just know it automatically.

    Crap crap crap. I call crap. Add more money sinks, sure, but this should not be 5000 freaking gold AGAIN, it was a chore just to get Artisan on 2 characters, and now I need 10000 per character in total for epic flight? What a load of garbage.

    I like Thrall's new model, but what happened to his old armor? I mean why did he go from plate/mail to cloth? I'd have much rather seen a new, upgraded black armor model file with some type of cloak over it (similar to Medivh's maybe).

    Also, Garrosh' character looks sick on the loading screen. Worthy of the Hellscream name.

    Yeah. On the loading screen he really looks insane. Like an orcisch Leader. Hopefully the modell ingame will loke the same later and not like the warhammer peon.

    Thrall becomes an Titan. Looking upon Kalimdor and Azeroth! So thats the way he's goin' to become one!

    Doesn't Thrall new get-up reminds you of the old Orc hermit that Maiev met while she was chasing down Illidan in WC3:FT?
    I hope he's packing some badass armor under that cloth, I imagine all the Alliance rogues would wanna have a go at home now that he's in cloth.

    Thrall is older, NOT old, in his 30's? His beard isn't white or anything.

    His new model is prob so he can get around, makes sense.

    Btw Garrosh on the loading screen, who did that artwork? I want the original, before it was added to the loading screen.
